Hi Guys, I didn't see a thread for the Rutgers ABSN Summer 2019 so I figured I would start one.
Has anyone applied to the program?

Hey! Congrats on your acceptance. Depending on where you live you could take the NJ Transit train as well. As a student you could get a 25% discount on one month passes as well. That may reduce costs as well. Good luck in nursing school! I wish you the best.

They actually didn't email me I was just obsessively checking the status screen. I have different gpas from three different schools. Around 3.0/3.2ish to 3.75 from my recent prerequisites.

A lot of the acceptance emails said the latest to accept was March 15th. So there might be another wave after that date.

Definitely complete that ASAP, it can take some time for your background check to come in and to get your bloodwork/titers done. However, don't freak out if you don't have it completed by orientation because they actually go over all the clinical clearance stuff at orientation lol I started the process about 3 weeks before orientation and had everything set by orientation, but they were like "if you haven't started this process, get on it RIGHT NOW" and I was like who in the Type B personality hasn't started this?!?!?! Their presentation was very organized and thorough. So if you have any questions, they will be answered. But don't wait, because they will be waiting on you to hand in everything before making the clinical groups and everyone wants their clinical group assignments ASAP. It sounds like they kind of chase you down if they haven't gotten anything from you too. So as long as you've submitted everything you could and are just waiting to hear back on results, don't worry too much about it.
