Hi Guys, I didn't see a thread for the Rutgers ABSN Summer 2019 so I figured I would start one.
Has anyone applied to the program?

Yeah, same. I wonder when the last day is that they would let us know by. According to this they have orientation on the 2nd of April. http://nursing.rutgers.edu/orientation/

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe they’ll have another one.
Hi All,
I’m current level 2 in Newark. For our group there were a few people that found out their admission status after the orientation. They go right up until the start of the semester. Many of us applied to both campuses and got into both. They need to sort out who’s going where and this frees up a lot of seats. Good luck.

Do you think most students that are waitlisted get in?

How was your first semester as far as your schedule and clinical ?
I was in a group of 10 students. We had four days of school and clinical. Tuesday and Wednesday was classroom. One day for health assessment lab and another day for clinical. Some people got lucky and had health assessment on Wednesday so they just had to devote 3 days to school. Keep in mind the spring semester is longer than the summer so this is likely to be different for your level 1.
Stay flexible and power through.
