Rutgers ABSN FALL 2017

Hi there guys! I just submitted all my applications for Nursing School, including Rutgers ABSN Fall 2017. I am super stoked!

However, I am just missing two classes. They are Lifespan and Nutrition. Does anyone know where I can take Nutrition in New Jersey? Thanks. :)

Hey Guys,

I applied to Rutgers-Newark for fall 2018 and still have not heard back from them :(. I only need nutrition and I registered for it for summer 2. Hopefully, that do not become a reason for a rejection letter .

Also, my transcript was submitted to NursCas later :(.

I am kind of losing hope, seems like a lot of people are getting accepted. I still want to stay positive until I get a letter from them. However, it's so hard to wait.

Is anyone else in the same position as I am?

I got in! This may be a dumb question... but it says it's a 14 month program. Is that academic months or calendar months?

Basically, when is the first day and when do we graudate?

If yes, can you answer some questions ?

If you don't mind that is .

Did they specify why they rejected you ?

Did you hand in everything on time ?

What are you planning on doing next ?

First day is right after labor day. We have four consecutive terms: fall '17, spring '18, summer '18, and fall '18. And then we graduate :-) Academic calendar with breaks and exact dates: Academic Calendar | Scheduling and Space Management

I've got a feeling if we haven't heard that we're accepted by now, it's probably not a good sign and that the rejection/wait list letters might be coming soon :-/

Thanks! That's what I assumed but the "14 months" threw me off. Guess they mean 14 academic months.

Two questions:

1) Has anyone been assigned their RUID yet? If so, how did you receive it?

2) I saw that prior cohorts made a Facebook group for their group, so I went and started a FB group for the Fall 2017 New Brunswick cohort. Help share information, or something to that effect :) I made it a closed group, but you can just search for it "Rutgers ASBN Fall 2017 New Brunswick Campus", request the join, and I'll add you in. If anybody else wants admin privileges, just lemme know!

I'm pretty sure they're just mailing decisions this year, at least mine was by mail. I called a few days ago and they said they're not done making decisions before my acceptance came in the mail.
