Rutgers ABSN FALL 2017

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi there guys! I just submitted all my applications for Nursing School, including Rutgers ABSN Fall 2017. I am super stoked!

However, I am just missing two classes. They are Lifespan and Nutrition. Does anyone know where I can take Nutrition in New Jersey? Thanks. :)

Do the NursingCas show or states if you get accepted or wait listed? For those that already got their letter.

No it doesn't, at least not on mine. Are you still waiting to hear back?

Yeah :(.

Wow that's super late, have you tried calling Admissions yet?

Has anyone from the waitlist heard anything back yet ?

I'm on the waitlist and haven't heard anything. I'm hoping they start sending out acceptances as soon as spots begin to open up, I'm guessing it depends on what the last deposit date was for accepted students.

Right , have you called and spoken to any reps yet ? I haven't , but from the last threads it looks like it will probably take up to two weeks to find out if we're accepted.

I left a message for one, if he doesn't call back then I'm calling again tomorrow. I'm being a bit relentless with the calls and emails because I would be moving almost 8 hours away from out of state and need to give enough notice to quit my job and find an apartment if I end up getting off the waitlist. Seeing as it took 7 weeks after the deadline to even get a decision it looks like this may be awhile too.

@Ayme have you heard anything?

Hey Guys, Ive been trying to find people who are attending the ABSN program at the New brunswick campus for 2017-2018 and was not able to find anyone so I decided to make a facebook group! I am also looking for a roommate so if anyone knows anything please let me know! Hope you guys see this and join!

I took both at Bergen community college online and they were fine for the Rutgers accelerated program in NB. However, check with all schools because I know one of the programs I was thinking of applying to wouldn't take the nutrition class BCC offers.

Hi guys,

There's only a few days left to apply to the Spring 2018 Term and I was wondering if there was anyone else applying without having ALL the pre-requisite courses completed (but finishing them all before being matriculated)? I have a couple in progress and would be finishing them before the Spring term but it seems that the ABSN website is telling me that you have to have them all completed before applying?

Hi! I'm also applying for spring 2018, I have one prequisite left which is nutrition. I'll be taking it this month at Phoenix university (online). I think it says on the website that you can have two non-science courses pending before the program starts.
