Rutgers ABSN FALL 2017

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi there guys! I just submitted all my applications for Nursing School, including Rutgers ABSN Fall 2017. I am super stoked!

However, I am just missing two classes. They are Lifespan and Nutrition. Does anyone know where I can take Nutrition in New Jersey? Thanks. :)

Yeah, I ended up registering for it at a local community college. How about yourself? Do you have any missing pre-reqs? All ready to hear back from them? haha By the way, what's your background in terms of education? Did you attend Rutgers for undergrad or a different university. I would love to hear your story. Thanks.

Less than a month left guys! Hope everyone is exited. I hope we all get in!

hi! I'm applying for spring 2018 but thought I'd jump in here. I have a 3.3 from my BA, a masters in public health GPA 3.7 and all As in my pre-reqs except microbio (A-) and stats (B). I took all of my pre-reqs online. I am applying to both campuses. I am so nervous! I have 17 years of work experience in clinical trial management, but I'm mostly worried about my 3.3 GPA. I don't know how I will wait for the fall for all of this! The website says spring applications are due 9/15 but Nursing CAS says they are due 8/18! Good luck to everyone applying for fall, I am so jealous and can't wait to hear about your journey!

Does anyone know if they really wait until June 1 to begin reviewing applications? It's a bit ridiculous to find out in July when other schools want a deposit in May or June.

Yes, its true. Its not a bit ridiculous, its super ridiculous! I ended up paying other deposits just to stay on the safe side. I really didn't expect this from Rutgers.

I have a question- did you all fill out the experiences and achievements section of the application AND submit your resume? I feel like it's just retyping everything in my resume. Nursing CAS said I don't have to and Rutgers hasn't gotten back to me. thanks

Specializes in PICU.

Hi everyone! I'm in the ABSN program in New Brunswick and will be starting Level 2 next week. Congrats on your acceptance!

Hi VGiordano23! No acceptance letters are in the mail, but I'm going forward optimistically.

I.... just filled out everything. It all seemed really redundant, but I hit a wall with trying to get answers too, so I just did everything. Better safe than sorry, right?

Hi Vgiordano23! How are you? Do you recommend students apply to both campuses, (ie, Newark, and New Brunswick).

thanks KP Muffin. I called and they said to fill out everything! thanks for replying. are you applying to fall or spring?
