My friend was doing clinical in Dallas Fortworth area student of TWU, every year at these particular site they pick out one or two students they put her on probation , with one or two negative feed back ( no major incident ) site terminated her residency . Now she has to find a new clinical site affilicated to TWU within a week .. if any of the TWU RRNAs or CRNAs practicing at a primary site please help to create a vacancy .. else she wont be able to continue means dropped out of the course !!!!! please post if you can give a life saving helping hand ....

Forgive my ignorance of the program, but isn't finding another clinical site the responsibility of the school and not your friend? I'm sure they don't expect her to run from place to place asking them to teach her.

I totally agree school should find a new site may be she has to file a law suite and go through all that kind of thing as last resort ... when some one is sinking before the cost guard arrive small boat can give a helping hand ..

What does that mean in english?

I'll betcha you're only hearing one side of this story. I have a hard time believing any clinical site arbitrarily decided they're going to screw with the future of two students each year just for the hell of it.

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean there's not someone REALLY after you! :lol2:

You are definately only hearing what your friend wants to say. It is no easy thing to put someone on clinical probation or dismissal without an extensive and solid paper trail. University due process requirements are written with protection of the student as a priority. No program director is willing to put themselves in a university due process situation without such a paper trail. Just remember- Denial is not just de river in Eygpt! :uhoh3:

A normal individual may not harm others you are right in that sense..

I know both side of the story well , there are few people who enjoys destroying others .. any one heard about kicking out a resident anesthesiologist from their MD residency ??

I have a friend who's a resident in Anesthesiology at Johns Hopkins.

In the first 4 months, 4 students (MD's) left the program b/c it was too demanding.

Starting class was 24.

Any one heard about kicking out of MSNA program in the middle of 2nd year clinical for minor things ? every one post what is going on so that the new students as well as future CRNA aspirants be warned !:angryfire

Residents get removed from programs all of the time.

If they are wanting to remove them in the second year, they were not just minor things. There have to be specific issues to do this.
