Roseman University 18-month Program?

Published

Hi everyone!

I saw a couple of thread regarding Roseman's nursing program but most of them are dated from 2012 or so. Anyways, I was curious if there is anyone currently in the 18 month program and how do they like it so far. I'm going to be starting there this August and just wanted to hear from current students.

I think the absolute closest apartment complexes by school are Citi Lights (formerly Mesa Club) and Broadstone Agave. I have heard good things about Mesa Club, but I don't think I know anyone that lives at Broadstone Agave.

I'll look into it. Thanks for the response.

Hello,

I was wondering which interview pool they were in for those who were recently accepted for Fall 2015 BSN program. I interviewed April 15 and still had not heard from them, so I'm wondering if those who were in the same group had received their acceptance already.

Would appreciate your feedback. Thanks in advance!

Hi,

I actually interviewed March 25, and received the acceptance email the beginning of April.

Yeah I interviewed at the end of March and received my acceptance letter the beginning of April.

Hello everyone! I recently graduated, March 2015, from the 18 month BSN program at Roseman. I really liked the program, but you definitely have to commit your life to it for the full 18 months. I worked part-time, but I wouldn't recommend it if you don't have to. The 90% pass is very stressful, but as long as you study and don't over think the questions on the assessments you can pass. If you have any questions feel free to email me. My email is [email protected]

Hey Everyone,

I have an interview for Roseman's BSN next week! --------------------- stated this was the last group to interview for the fall. I also applied to UNLV, but won't hear from them until July.

Hi everyone! I was accepted into the fall '15 program as well and am so so excited!! I'll be moving from Oregon so I am searching for an apartment too. Any one else from out of state settle for one yet?

Got accepted. Nervous :nailbiting:. However, if accepted to UNLV I will probably go there. I'm not sure. Both schools have their positives. It's a tough decision.

ahhh, has anyone heard anything about Roseman vs. UNLV?? I'm really trying to decide which school if I was to be accepted to both. UNLV is obviously better known, but Roseman's block system is really cool and how they have it set up. I do plan on getting a master's, and with Roseman you graduate with a 4.0 and will put me ahead of other applicants into grad school. I never thought about going to Roseman in the first place, but now I don't know what to do:unsure:

I can tell you this: I am a total critic and after hearing about everything that Roseman has to offer, I am extremely glad that I choose this school. All the professors/staff seem very competent and friendly and they all want us to acheive. It's going to be a uphill battle and I'm ready for it however, but again, I'm glad I chose this school.

I'm sure UNLV is a good school too and it's probably a little cheaper, especially if you're instate. But like you said, you can't beat that block system. At least I know for me, I'm the type of student that will excell in short classses. I always do good in summer school sessions because there's only one thing to focus on. BTW, Roseman just added another opprotunity to remediate if you don't pass your assesments, at least for the ABSN students. That means if you don't get a 90% on the first exam attempt, there's TWO more opprotunities to get 90%, not including the points you get with your group.

Hope that helps, I'm sure wherever you land will be a good fit, good luck.

How difficult is this 90% threshold? Do a lot of students remediate or drop out?

Depends on the material. Many people have never had to remediate, its all up to you and your study habits. Even if you don't pass it isn't the end of the world.
