Roseman University 18-month Program?

U.S.A. Nevada

Hi everyone!

I saw a couple of thread regarding Roseman's nursing program but most of them are dated from 2012 or so. Anyways, I was curious if there is anyone currently in the 18 month program and how do they like it so far. I'm going to be starting there this August and just wanted to hear from current students.

You can try the Wells Fargo MedCAP loan. It is specifically for health profession students & typically doesn't require a cosigner.

Does anyone have any current information regarding what it is like to be a student at Roseman? Was it a good experience? How were the insturctors? Did you like living in the area? My daughter is interviewing at the school. She currently lives in California, but the schools are so impacted with waiting lists.

I just got accepted to the Utah campus and looks right for me! Pm me with more questions..

My daughter was accepted also, but now needs to move to Utah from California and find a roommate! Do you know any college age girls that need a roommate?

I think part of the packet has a roommate database to help match up students... If she finds something downtown I'd be happy to carpool with her.

Also ellyalvarado, use the ksl.com classifieds it's what all the locals use for rental homes and roommates

Heather, since you are from the area, do you know anyone that has gone through the program? What has the feedback been? Once we get her living situation figured out, I'll feel a lot better.

I went to an info session at the school and met some students who had just graduated... they had passes the NCLEX and were already lined up with jobs. They said its tough but a few were able to work at go to school and did fine

I received a list of books to buy.

Hi LaineyLe! I am considering attending Roseman and would love to talk to you! I don't think I can PM yet. I am mainly interested in what it was like to attend the school and what your job prospects are like after attending. I am relatively new in my nursing school research and have just started to realize that the school you attend might affect your job prospects. Am I right to consider that as a factor in choosing my school?

Thanks!

ArielleP, my daughter started Roseman in Utah January 12, 2015 and absolutely LOVES it! It was all pretty stressful getting her situated as she interviewed late and didn't find out she was accepted until 6 weeks before school started. We live in California and she had very little time to find roommates and get things in order. But she found great roommates, loves the professors, and has made many great new friends in her cohort. So far she is doing really well on all the exams. She said many of the students attending this school are from out of state. The state of Utah is so much better than we expected. Salt Lake City is awesome and not far from the school. She would be happy to talk to you about the program and give you advice, but I don't know how to PM.
