Roseman University 18-month Program?

U.S.A. Nevada

Published

Hi everyone!

I saw a couple of thread regarding Roseman's nursing program but most of them are dated from 2012 or so. Anyways, I was curious if there is anyone currently in the 18 month program and how do they like it so far. I'm going to be starting there this August and just wanted to hear from current students.

Hello all: Im looking to apply sometime next year hopefully. Working on my pre reqs now. But I was wondering if any of you or knew a classmate that had small children and did just fine in the program. I currently live in california and I would be moving over there. Any input would be very helful thank you! :)

A lot of people in our class had small children and made it through just fine. It does help if you have someone else to watch them while you're putting in hours. :)

Thanks for replying :) I know that with smaller children anything is slightly more hard but that's great to know its possible :) My mother would hopefully be coming a long with me while my husband stays here in cali...:( But I think its all worth it as in california that wait list are so impacted

Hi vegas volt. Congratulations for finishing and graduating. I was just wondering about the textbooks, is the access to the elsevier textbook resources helpful and necessary? I was thinking of purchasing used textbooks for a cheaper price compared to buying the bundle but the used books I doubt has the elsevier resources.

Hi, I'm curious..... What was the model of the Dell laptop you guys had to get?

I never used the textbook online resources. During one block we needed to log in to Elsevier and do quizzes from the textbook, but the professor provided access to that. I bought almost every block's textbooks used or rented off Amazon, so you can definitely get by and save money doing that. However I never used older editions, always the one listed in the syllabus.

Thank you Vegas volt

You're very welcome! One thing I also wanted to mention was that when renting books off Amazon, sometimes the length of the block was so short that I was able to return my rental after the assessment and get a full refund :o One of the many perks of the block system!

That is awesome. Thanks.

Hi Angell4727 are you attending the Utah or Nevada campus?

Kim741, I will be attending the Nevada campusí ½í¸Š

Does anyone know what we will be doing if you don't go through remediation? I went through the schedule and notice that the remediation period is three weeks. If you don't go through remediation, are we gonna do clinical or something else?
