Hey! I was also at the March interview and got accepted into the South Jordan Campus. I need to get all my loan info figured out and figure out if I'll still be working at all before I decide on housing arrangements, but I reached out through facebook to some current students for housing advice (good neighborhoods, apartment complexes etc.) ICO and Odessa in South Jordan were recommended to me. Someone also said that living as far north as Midvale is still very doable.

Hi! I’m in the same boat- accepted to South Jordan and still sorting out finances before I decide on living situation. But I’d love a little more information about neighborhoods, apartments, etc. Can we connect on facebook? https://www.facebook.com/cjow94

I’d also love to hear from anyone else that was accepted into South Jordan. Might as well start getting familiar with each other ?

Hello everyone, how were the interviews today? Would you mind providing any feedback? Thank you!

Good Evening Y'all,

I got accepted to the South Jordan Campus. I was part of the third interview cycle earlier this March. Currently getting all my documents situated before the move and I was wondering who else got into the South Jordan Campus. Just wanted to post for any possible roommates willing to share rent. I filled out the Roommate Database Sheet that was attached to the acceptance packet so hopefully we can correspond soon. Trying to be frugal and prioritize what is needed when going attending school in Utah.

**For any other Users that may be anxious about the interview process:

Roseman provided two random questions that may ask about your habits of time management or how did you show compassion in a dire time. Every student during the interview process will have two different questions as well as different question sets to the next person.

-My question that I answered: Explain how you manage your time and complete tasks before a deadline.

During the Interview, I was the absolute last student. Everyone else left already. They asked me to just tell them about myself. Nothing fancy. Just a good old interview. Just be yourself and stay interesting.

**For any other User curious about my current stats for undergrad:

TEAS: 77%

SCI GPA: 3.81

Cumulative GPA: 3.71

Best wishes to you all!

Stay safe during COVID-19 and wash your hands!!

Congratulations! I got into SJ campus as well and am looking a roommate and would love to connect if you're interested. I am submitting my Roommate Database Sheet late, as my circumstances have changed since receiving the initial application.

Hi! It won't let me send you a private message on here, but I got in to the SJ campus as well and just got my first round of loans sorted. If you want to reach out to me my Instagram is granfalloon9050. My email and fb have my full name in them so I don't want to post publicly.

Hello! Do you mind sharing a little on your loan experience? I am still in the process but am having a difficult time.

Hi! I am an ABSN student currently at the Henderson campus. I saw you are looking at some places to live. If you are able to post your email address I can send you a Google doc of a list of apartments that I put together when I was looking for a place to live to make it a little easier!

That would be amazing, thank you! My email is [email protected]

Tbh the loan process is a bit complicated. Back when I was at Roseman a year ago, I was qualified for federal loans, but obviously had to come up with the rest; which was the hardest part. I was fortunate in terms of financial help, but I think most of classmates applied for loans from a bank, private loan companies, etc. Roseman doesn't really lead in a good sense of direction in terms of finances. All they want is your money.

I forgot if this was mentioned in the interview session or not, but there are four payments that you need to pay to the school in order for your debt to be paid in full. FYI the first payment is roughly 20k if I remember correctly and this doesn't include books, clinical supplies, scrubs, etc. It's a big hefty payment all at once. It will be a big financial hit in the beginning, but it will all be worth it in the end
