Hello!
Hope everyone is staying safe. I got accepted for Summer but a confused at the reward letter they sent us. Is term 1/2 only for one year? That means I would have to take about 25k in private loans? How’s everyone else doing and where are you guys applying for private loans ? Just curious is all.

Hi there, did you receive the reward letter after applying for financial aid? I haven't received one yet...

Does anyone mind sharing their stats? I’ve applied and rolled over with no luck. I’m currently retaking some of my science courses to up my GPA since it was barely minimal required- I’m just wondering how high I need to be. My advisor keeps saying I’m “competitive” ( my numbers) but I’ve applied and rolled over twice with no luck. I had an interview but they felt I needed to up my numbers. Just wondering if you guys have info that could help

TEAS 84.7

Last 60 credits ~ 3.25

Pre-reqs 3.88

I was accepted for the Summer cohort

They mentioned this at my interview. Basically you'll have to apply for aid/loans twice. This was weird to me because in my undergrad I didn't have to reapply for any fed loans, my approval covered the time it took to earn my degree.

Hi guys! I just started looking into applying for private loans but it’s a lot to process and research. If anyone has any recommendations or info I would really appreciate it.

I’m also gonna start looking for a place in Nevada so if anyone is looking for a roommate lmk!

I'm in the same boat as you. I've never applied for a student loan before so any info would be great!

Good Evening Y'all,

I got accepted to the South Jordan Campus. I was part of the third interview cycle earlier this March. Currently getting all my documents situated before the move and I was wondering who else got into the South Jordan Campus. Just wanted to post for any possible roommates willing to share rent. I filled out the Roommate Database Sheet that was attached to the acceptance packet so hopefully we can correspond soon. Trying to be frugal and prioritize what is needed when going attending school in Utah.

**For any other Users that may be anxious about the interview process:

Roseman provided two random questions that may ask about your habits of time management or how did you show compassion in a dire time. Every student during the interview process will have two different questions as well as different question sets to the next person.

-My question that I answered: Explain how you manage your time and complete tasks before a deadline.

During the Interview, I was the absolute last student. Everyone else left already. They asked me to just tell them about myself. Nothing fancy. Just a good old interview. Just be yourself and stay interesting.

**For any other User curious about my current stats for undergrad:

TEAS: 77%

SCI GPA: 3.81

Cumulative GPA: 3.71

Best wishes to you all!

Hey! I was also at the March interview and got accepted into the South Jordan Campus. I need to get all my loan info figured out and figure out if I'll still be working at all before I decide on housing arrangements, but I reached out through facebook to some current students for housing advice (good neighborhoods, apartment complexes etc.) ICO and Odessa in South Jordan were recommended to me. Someone also said that living as far north as Midvale is still very doable.

Lovely!

Well, whatever will work. Please keep me updated please. I am assuming, as students, that we should live within our financial bounds. South Jordan or other areas in Utah are a lot cheaper than Nevada, let alone California.

hey guys ! I’m still waiting to hear about the April interviews and my advisor said they haven’t heard anything either. any luck from y’all ?
