Hey girl,

I made a great interview question sheet from all the past interviews they’ve done and questions they will ask. I did my research LOL. I was well prepared for the interview and I can help you out too! Send me an email so I can send you the Google doc.

Good luck!

Hey, I'm applying to the 2021 ABSN program and was wondering if you still had that Google doc to prepare for the interview! Still waiting on invitations for an interview but I want to get ahead LOL. Can't send you a private message for some reason ?

Hi I finally got accepted to start in June. I just signed the payment and registration form which lists out payment due dates and amounts! My goodness!! I’m applying for financial aid and any other help but how the heck do people cover this amount aside from private loans. If I get financial aid for part can I opt to use ISA to cover rest? Not sure how much ISA limit is and if it’ll be enough???

Hi I start ABSN in June- looking for a lil insight in regards to the scheduling (I know they’ll give us some details in orientation but looking to get any info I can sooner) I need to look into childcare so was wondering how many days a week I would be occupied with school/being on campus for all that’s needed? Also, the Winter break seems to overlap with a nursing research topic - any idea how that break goes?

Block 1, if I remember correctly, was a week long and it was all online. Block 2 is fundamentals and you will be on campus for 3 weeks (I believe) from 8-3 M-F however, we were only technically required to be there from 8-12 but it is beneficial to stay longer to practice your skills. Block 3 you will have skills lab days that require you to be on campus. So to answer your question, it varies and you really do not know until the Block begins what days you are expected to be on campus. It's tough but somehow it works. Find a babysitter that is flexible would be my suggestion. BUT, I would suggest securing a babysitter to cover study time as well. You'll need it to focus. The classes move fast and cover a lot of content, especially after Block 4.

Would you be able to give more information on how the schedule is, and how the testing schedule works?

Is there a test on the last day for all of the blocks?

Orientation (in person)

Block 1 - intro (online) Do you just attend class the last day of the block?

Block 2 - lab (in person)

Block 3 - THIS is where I'm confused... The first part 3.0 is didactic (is this ONLY online?) and then 3.1 is the experiential (fundamentals clinic). For the didactic portion for the blocks like this is it strictly online, or are there lab components sprinkled in?

Block 4 - Pharmacology (online)

Block 5- 5.0 Adult health didactic (in person with some labs sprinkled in or just online??) 5.1 Adult health experiential (clinical in person)

Block 8 - 8.0 Maternal didactic (in person with some labs sprinkled in or just online??) 8.1 Adult health experiential (clinical in person)

Block 14 - senior practicum in person?

Block 15 -  senior seminar in person?

Would so appreciate your help!! ?
