Hey guys,
I made a facebook page for the South Jordan campus if anyone is interested! We can use it to connect with one another, post things like room shares needed, questions we may have, study groups, announcements, and anything else!

Not sure how to post the link/invite but this is the facebook group title, you can search "Roseman University ABSN July 2020 South Jordan" on facebook and it should pop right up. If not, you can send me your email and I'll be happy to add you!

@11223 I would love if you emailed me the list as well, thank you! [email protected]

Tbh the loan process is a bit complicated. Back when I was at Roseman a year ago, I was qualified for federal loans, but obviously had to come up with the rest; which was the hardest part. I was fortunate in terms of financial help, but I think most of classmates applied for loans from a bank, private loan companies, etc. Roseman doesn't really lead in a good sense of direction in terms of finances. All they want is your money.

I forgot if this was mentioned in the interview session or not, but there are four payments that you need to pay to the school in order for your debt to be paid in full. FYI the first payment is roughly 20k if I remember correctly and this doesn't include books, clinical supplies, scrubs, etc. It's a big hefty payment all at once. It will be a big financial hit in the beginning, but it will all be worth it in the end

What is the cost of the entire program? Including tuition, fees, books, etc. (not including housing).

So close to 80k just for tuition, broken up into 4 payments... what is the usual amount most students get help with (when we apply for whatever help we can get) Is majority coming from loans? Does financial aid help at all for those who barely have income/ no income? Sorry I’m so naive when it comes to this

I just requested an add. Also, does anyone know anything about the Renter's Data Sheet that Roseman gave us? I'm ready to talk and plan out room situations out in South Jordan, UT. I heard, according to a friend, that due to the pandemic, there are deals out there when renting out a space. Please, if anyone is willing, you can message me through Instagram (pumpknspce) or add me on facebook (message me for my name).

We're almost there!

Has anyone heard anything regarding orientation and whether it’ll be in person or online?

Trying to contact anyone at the moment is pretty difficult on my end. Just replying so that you don't feel out of the loop during these troubling times.

Hey everyone, I am looking at applying to Roseman but am confused about the tuition. Their website shows $55,350 (with additional lab fee of like $3500) but I see on this thread that it's more like $80k? Is that because the $55k is just for the one academic year and the program is longer? Just curious how it's computed. I haven't heard back from them about this question. Thanks!!

I think the $80k figure is including cost of living during the program. Tuition + additional fees are around $60k. When you account for rent, transportation, food, utilities etc. The total cost is closer to $80k.

OK, I thought that initially but then thought maybe I missed something after reading about $80k broken up into 4 payments with first being $20k. Thanks!

Hi everyone. For anyone who is from california, does this program help you qualify to be a public health nurse in california? I ’ve been trying to figure out if Roseman University qualifies for a PHN license in CA. I know that if you get a BSN from a CA school, you are qualified as the requirements are built into the program...but I can’t tell if a Utah/Nevada school would have the same qualifications. Does anyone know if RUHS curriculum qualifies for PHN licensure in CA or know if a place I can get the information necessary to apply for the license. CA Breeze website doesn’t really list out what qualifications are necessary, it just states that CA BSN candidates already qualify.
