What is the cost of the entire program? Including tuition, fees, books, etc. (not including housing).

I believe it was roughly 70k. Not including books and housing. My fed loans covered around 4k per term so around (16k). I'm surprised they didn't give you this info during the interviews LOL

Hi everyone. For anyone who is from california, does this program help you qualify to be a public health nurse in california? I ’ve been trying to figure out if Roseman University qualifies for a PHN license in CA. I know that if you get a BSN from a CA school, you are qualified as the requirements are built into the program...but I can’t tell if a Utah/Nevada school would have the same qualifications. Does anyone know if RUHS curriculum qualifies for PHN licensure in CA or know if a place I can get the information necessary to apply for the license. CA Breeze website doesn’t really list out what qualifications are necessary, it just states that CA BSN candidates already qualify.

Roseman qualifies for you to get your RN license in CA, but IDK about PHN. I assume you would have to take a few additional classes. That's just my guess anyways.

Does anyone have a list of vaccines we need prior to clinicals. I'd like to get that taken care of now, while I still have insurance through work but I'm having trouble getting a definitive list of the vaccines I need.

I think I remember seeing a list somewhere on the roseman site a while back, but the only one I seem to recall forsure is a 2-step TB test in addition to the vaccines

I found this from one of the previous threads I'm not sure if it'll be exactly the same for this year, but hopefully this gives you an idea. Also does anyone know if Roseman allows grant plus loans? I applied for it but haven't heard anything back.

Tbh I don't think roseman allows grant plus loans. If they did, then I know I would've applied for it if it was available LOL. Honestly, I think I asked a similar question like this during orientation/interview day and they said no (yet again that was three years ago). Personally, all I remember is that almost everyone had the federal loans (sub/unsub loans) and personal loans via family or from a bank. Hopefully this info helps! You can always call the busar office. I'm sure they can lead you in the right direction.

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a roommate for Nevada campus for this coming 2020 cohort. Please let me know if anyone is interested.

Thanks,

if anyone is still looking for one message me. Also you’ll have time to get all vaccines after orientation.

Does anyone know if the SJ campus will for sure be open for classes the end of July/August? Or will classes be held online due to covid?

Hey! I was also at the March interview and got accepted into the South Jordan Campus. I need to get all my loan info figured out and figure out if I'll still be working at all before I decide on housing arrangements, but I reached out through facebook to some current students for housing advice (good neighborhoods, apartment complexes etc.) ICO and Odessa in South Jordan were recommended to me. Someone also said that living as far north as Midvale is still very doable.

I live in ICO right now and I am starting the BSN program in August. I really like living here and it's so close to campus!

Hey girl,

I made a great interview question sheet from all the past interviews they’ve done and questions they will ask. I did my research LOL. I was well prepared for the interview and I can help you out too! Send me an email so I can send you the Google doc.

Good luck!

Hi, I'm applying for the Summer cohort for 2021 will you share this doc with me too please :)?

Hi Everyone! I was accepted to the October 2020 cohort SJ campus. I was curious if anyone was working during the program and how that was going? I have orientation this month and just wanted to know what to expect.

Hi guys! I’m an incoming ABSN student starting this October in the Utah campus. I just wanted to know if any of you are selling your used books from Block 1-6? Just trying to save money out here (:  please feel free to email me at [email protected]

You should send a request to the cohorts graduating around the same time that you're starting. ABSN July 2020 will still be in block 5 in October 2020.
