Roseman University ABSN Spring 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey, has anyone applied to or started the process with Roseman University for the Spring 2018 cohort? I know that the application opens next Friday, but I just wanted to see who all is planning on applying. Has anyone gotten an invitation for an interview yet? I will be applying to the Las Vegas campus. Also, what are your TEAS score, last 60-unit GPA, and prerequisite GPA?

Is there anyone here who currently attends Roseman and can tell me how it is?

Yeah the breakdown of the GPA portion threw me off too so I'm not sure how they're calculating that part. I had a 94.7% on my TEAS so I'm hoping it'll make up for my not terribly high GPA!

I think your TEAS score will definitely balance out your GPA! They recommend a 3.25 overall and math/science GPA. I am assuming you're around that range?

My TEAS score gives me the full 35 points possible.

Hey guys,

Like you said @Pono I think its similar to the TEAS point system but the additional 3 points is throwing me off... I am so anxious about the email ): The wait is killing me ahhhhh hahah

Thats awesome!

Glad I'm not the only one who didn't understand it, haha. Wish they'd included a table like with the TEAS!

From what my counselor said, my prerequisite gpa is 3.8 but my last 60 units gpa is only 3.0 so I'm slightly worried. I also froze a bit on one question in the interview so I'm worried about how much that would affect me as well.

Thanks for the advice guys! I hope you guys get in. I re-take my TEAS Exam tomorrow. Hoping to score higher. I got an over 63% on the TEAS my first try. I got a 64% on Reading (ran out of time and had to guess the last 6 questions), an 84% in Math (I studied hardest for this section), a 46% in Science (Didn't study well) and a 75% in English (I rushed and got nervous about failing science). I hope to drastically bring up my Science and Reading scores. My prerequisite GPA is a 3.5 GPA but I'm still in progress with Physiology and Microbiology. My last 60-unit is a about either a 2.9 or 3.0. I'm super scared about that. I'm starting to think that I should maybe apply for the Utah location because I know Vegas is SUPER competitive. Did they say that if you're put on hold, you'll get an offer for the other locations? I already got denied from one school (Utica College NY) so now I'm REALLY on edge and trying to find more schools to apply to. Can anyone suggest more programs please that start between January and March?

I know some nursing programs require a score of around 80% on reading, which is considered "proficient" to ATI standards.

You should definitely download the full version of the TEAS app from pocket prep. That's what I used to study and I scored a perfect score after using Roseman's conversion table. the questions on the app are spot on for the format and content of the real test. Good luck on everything and I hope we all eventually become Roseman students!!!
