Roseman University ABSN October 2018

Published

Hi everyone! I am a hopeful for the October 2018 ABSN cohort at Roseman Health Science University. I didn't see a thread for this group and have some questions, so I figured I would start one :-)

I applied May 1 and have yet to hear back about an interview invitation, which I was under the impression would be coming around this time. I'm very excited about this program and nervous as heck. Has anybody heard back?

I have heard from other thread, they were saying the transcript we will receive after we done with the program is only show pass and no pass, and with a 4.0 on the top, but it's pass and no pass after each course we finish, just wanna to make sure is it true, because I'm planning go to NP program after this

Yes, I got accepted to Henderson campus :)

My TEAS score was 79% ish

Science GPA 3.0 Overall 3.2 ish lol

Lot of people from Vegas, Utah, and CA apply to Roseman. The number of people that apply to Roseman is just way higher compared to number they can accept. I read from their website (?) that only 32-48 (multiples of 8) students get accepted to each cohort. I know June interview had about 32 students.

I think applying now and aiming for Feb 2019 cohort will be one of the options. I was siming for July 2018 cohort. But, don't know wether because I took my 2nd TEAS late for 2nd interview (applied early with my 1st teas 72%), or there were too many students that applied, or whatever other reason may be, I didn't get in. But my advisor kept in touch, and told me about doing rollover enrollment. And I was able to get 1st interview (June) for this cohort :)

Wow great ! Thanks ! Do you know anything about the transcript we will get after we done with the program? I seen people say that we will only have pass/no pass for the class we take on our transcript?

We talked about it during the interview day, but not in detail. This conversation was right before writing and interview portion, so I don't remember it clearly because I was feeling REALLY nervous lol. It would be best to talk with advisor for more accurate info.

Director of Admissions & Enrollment, Erik, mentioned that it will be a pass or no pass grading system. I think if you get 95~ and higher (didn't tell us exact %) on exams, it is possible for you to get above 4.0 GPA.

Has anybody been able to get a hold of their advisor? I emailed mine on friday and I haven't gotten any respond. No invite, no rejection, no roll over. Nothing. :(

Haven't heard from mine either or the school. We're we supposed to get a rejection letter/email? I've been in limbo with this school :(

anyone else got accepted into SJ campus?

My advisor told me they are running late with sending invites and they should have them sent by this Friday. I'm still keeping hope! I do not believe they send rejection letters. I think only invites are sent.

I had my interview in July and I just received my acceptance email for Henderson campus!

I got accepted into the Henderson campus too ! Got the email yesterday . Good luck to everyone .

I got my interview invite today!

@damon521 at the July interview they said they are still doing pass/no pass transcripts with a gpa on them.
