Roseman University ABSN October 2018

Hi everyone! I am a hopeful for the October 2018 ABSN cohort at Roseman Health Science University. I didn't see a thread for this group and have some questions, so I figured I would start one :-)

I applied May 1 and have yet to hear back about an interview invitation, which I was under the impression would be coming around this time. I'm very excited about this program and nervous as heck. Has anybody heard back?

Can any one who interviewed tell me what time you were able to leave? I am trying to plan my flight in case I get invited I and would like some ballpark times if possible. I know they say expecting it to be 1-5pm. Did any one get out earlier or is 5 about right? Thanks!

Hi :) I got my interview done on June 13th at Utah location. I live in Vegas, so I flew out the night before, Tuesday, and flew back after the interview. It's my GUESS, but I think the interview will be held on August 8th or 15th.

Hi all! My advisor just called and let me know that I'm on the invite list for the August interview and to be on the look out for an email in the next week or so!

Hi there! I just had my interview on Wednesday. We began promptly at 1pm and the interviews happened last, beginning around 2:30pm I believe. They called us back in what seemed to be random order; some people left around 3:00pm when they were finished. I don't think they would have you later than 5:00pm.

Same for me! I booked my flights and hotel, but my anxiety won't go away until I get the actual email.

Are you from Nevada or California? I feel yah though! I've been really anxious through the whole process. Just wish it was done and over with!

I'm confused about this whole process. I haven't talked to my advisor in about three weeks. They told me that they wouldn't know anything till I emailed them to let them know I got invited. They made it sound like its all automated where a computer makes the decisions. I was told the invites would get sent 10-14 days prior. That would be August 1-5.

Do you guys know anymore about the process?

@KarlieChristine I am from California, hoping to get into the Nevada campus though!

@AspiringRn93 From what I've been told, the advisors can't do much about whether or not you're invited besides giving another board all of your information. The advisors don't make the choice of who is invited or not, but I think they give a list of their most promising applicants for consideration.
