Roseman University ABSN October 2018

Published

Hi everyone! I am a hopeful for the October 2018 ABSN cohort at Roseman Health Science University. I didn't see a thread for this group and have some questions, so I figured I would start one :-)

I applied May 1 and have yet to hear back about an interview invitation, which I was under the impression would be coming around this time. I'm very excited about this program and nervous as heck. Has anybody heard back?

Hello!

I'm waiting to hear back about my application as well! I'm going to be discussing my transfer credits with an advisor on the phone next week. I'm currently in another accelerated program in IL, but I'm not impressed with it. The plan was always to move west after I graduated, but I'm trying to see if my credits transfer and time isn't added I could do it now.

Hi!

I applied for the October 2018 cohort as well in mid May. My advisor left and there's a temporary but I feel so left in the dark because he's not as communicative as my old advisor. I read somewhere that you have to send in your supplemental application fee before your NursingCAS app and I did that. Then I got an email saying they received my supplemental application but not my NursingCas application. My advisor said that's okay but it's a little more work on their end.

I'm really stressing out because we were aiming for the July 18th interview, but I haven't heard yet and it's 11 days away! Has anyone received invitations to the August interviews yet?

I submitted my apps in May and I did not get into the July round. Currently waiting to hear about the August interview. They said to expect something two weeks or more before the interview date so we should all know by about August 1st.

Anyone else having difficulty getting their advisor to respond to emails or answer phone calls? I've had this issue for a while, and then he started responding in a timely manner once submitting my application, but I've gotten radio silence whenever I try to ask about the rest of the process. He also said I was in good standing and he'd recommend me for the July interview, but I haven't heard anything since.

I haven't heard anything for about a week and a half-2weeks.ayne they are just swamped and trying to hold off giving any information until they figure out how full the program is. Just a guess! If I hear anything I will be sure to post.

Hey guys! I am so happy I found this forum because I feel like Roseman has been leaving me in the dark for months!! So I had an advisor and in March she told me I was a great candidate for the school and she was told me I could get an interview in June, I was super excited. Anyway April comes around and the director of the program emails me saying that my advisor got promoted and that he was gonna assign me to a new advisor. After that.. I NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN. Or anyone else for that matter. I applied in mid May anyway, I did the supplemental, sent in all the transcripts and I haven't heard anything from anyone! I am so frustrated. I have emailed the director several times as well as my former advisor. I have called several times and no one ever answers so I leave messages to no avail. *UGH* I even went to Roseman to meet with someone and some bsn advisor met me in the lobby and simply told me to apply to nursingcas -____- I just want to have someone who I know I can contact when I have questions or get antsy since its been almost two months since I applied. I didn't get a call for the June or July Interview so I'm happy to read here that theres an August interview 'cause otherwise I'd have no idea. Anyway, I am worried that since I wasn't assigned another advisor that I wouldn't get a call for an interview. Does anyone know if who makes those calls? or do we get an email?

also, thanks for reading my rant lol

I haven't heard anything from my advisor for about 2 weeks. But he said it would be an Email notification for the interview

Thank you so much for the info! I guess now I should just wait hopefully for an email... ughhhh fingers crossed for all of us

Hello! Is there anybody that went to the June, or is going to the July interview that can tell me how many days off of work they got? My work place needs a 3 week notice for days off and I would like to be able to get that day off just in case I do receive an invitation for the august interview. Thank you :)

Hello! do any of you know if it is too late to apply for the October cohort?

@winggy earlier in this thread or another, some applicants said they received an email on June 26th and the 28th for the July 18th interview.
