Roseman University ABSN October 2018

Published

Hi everyone! I am a hopeful for the October 2018 ABSN cohort at Roseman Health Science University. I didn't see a thread for this group and have some questions, so I figured I would start one :-)

I applied May 1 and have yet to hear back about an interview invitation, which I was under the impression would be coming around this time. I'm very excited about this program and nervous as heck. Has anybody heard back?

Thanks.

That makes sense. It sucks how it's not really clarified. I wonder if they will say by next week if you get rejected or accepted. My advisor didn't tell me my stats either just to keep waiting.

When did you apply? I applied June 7 but my transcripts got delayed by my school till the end of June.

Best of luck to you!

Hi! I applied around the same time as you. After i sent in the application and supplement app (the one from rosemen website) i emailed my advisor my proof of submission and my supplement receipt. She emailed me back saying she will submit my file for interview review. I haven't heard from her or rosemen since then. That was 6/14

Yesterday I got a call from my advisor and she told my partner and I that August interview is at capacity. She is making us sign a rollover form for September interviews for Feb cohort. She said that it'll give us a bit of priority and we will get in the first session. She said she will be submitting the list of students in mid August. Has anyone else been told to sign this rollover form?

Hey, did your advisor tell you if all the invitations have been sent out already?

I was under the impression they didn't start interviews for a cohort till three months prior. This process just keeps getting more confusing.

Thanks and best of luck to you.

Hi, she yeah emailed and called and just said that August interviews have "reached capacity". So I'm guessing that they have sent out all invitations. Yeah it's really confusing but I'm hoping what she is saying is true at we just get rolled over for the following month, September 19. I'll try to email her and ask how many students are getting rolled over and more info today.

Thanks.

Can you tell me your advisor name so that I can ask if they can look into my application? My advisor has not answered my calls and hasn't emailed me back since early June.

Also, if you don't mind me asking when did you apply?

Her name is Lauren she is based at the Utah campus. She is really good, I would speak with her at least every week until recently. I applied 6/7 right before the Friday deadline for July interviews list to be submitted.. So I was hoping to fall into the August interview list but I think I applied to late.

I really want to know which counselors you all have, my counselor just sends me a copy and pasted message saying that they can't give me information. I submitted in May. Scored 84 on teas, and have higher than 3.0. I was told I was 10 points above other students in terms of average for getting an interview and I haven't been told anything.

Hi all! I'm planning to apply the ABSN spring 2019. Does anyone know when Is the day when can start to submit our application? Is it true that the early you apply, the higher chance you can get in?

My science &math GPA:3.68

overall:3.65

TEAS:86

Is it my score possible to get in the program? Anyone are in the program can tell me? Thanks!

I saw someone said, if they have spot in SJ, do they give u a chance to go to Utah ?

@AspiringRn93 For August interview invites, I believe it will be sent out around Aug 1st to Aug 3rd. For my June 13th interview, I received an e-mail exactly 2 weeks prior, May 30th.

@damon521 To know the application date, send an e-mail. An advisor should contact you and let you know. The dates does not show on Roseman website. And usually, Utah campus is less competitive (?) or should I say less students apply to SJ campus compared to Henderson. Usually, advisors ask which campus you prefer and if you don't mind, just let them know. I heard that after you get interviewed and get accepted, if Henderson is your first choice and it gets full, they give you a choice to either attend SJ campus, rollover and attend next cohort, or be on waiting list.

Do you mind I ask that did you get in the program , and what is your gpa and teas score looks like? I just wanna to know where I'm standing rn, and what is my chance to get in, I am from San Diego CA. It is super competitive to get in nursing program here.
