I would like to hear from students of this program, do you recommend it? I can't imagine doing the didactic portion of a Nursing program online and then coming to campus/clinical sites for the rest of the program. Are students graduating from this program confident of their nursing skills and then going on to successfully pass the NCLEX?

I talked to the admissions office at Roseman and they said that the program was regionally accredited. I also found out that this program is a COHORT, so I suppose the program is sort of experimental.

I would love to hear from current or graduated students of this program.

Thanks!

I am looking into Roseman's ABSN program. My only concern is whether or not the California Board of Registered Nurses accepts Roseman's educational program. I would love to hear from anyone who knows whether or not it is accepted. Are there any RNs out there who graduated from Roseman's nursing program and are working in California?

Hello, did you end up going to Roseman? How is it going? Do you think you'll have a hard time moving back with the education they have provided you? I am planning to spend my lifes saving to move up to LV... need a little guidance to see if this is the right thing to do...

Hello,

I am interested in the ABSN program at Roseman Univ, and was wondering if anyone had recent updates on how the program is going. Those who have gone through the program - do you enjoy the block system and is it doable in achieving a 90% or higher in all blocks?

Thank you!

No they are re-written tests but you basically get 3 tries to make the 90

I recommend the Utah campus, Utah is cheaper to live in and the class is smaller and the teachers have been nothing but amazing!

There are many nurses in my program from CA. There have been no issues with the recently graduated class either.

I highly recommend you consider other programs.

Roseman ABSN is a disaster.

I been in program since February 1 2015, and this program is consistently terrible.

Most professors (a couple of exceptions only) are terrible, disorganized and with very low self-awareness.

In my time here, a few professors have been fired, the Dean of the Nursing school resigned due to an ethics scandal and the assistant Dean of the ABSN resigned after only being at Roseman for 9 months to take a position elsewhere.

I have not had to retake (or remediate) any of the exams, but some/many of the test questions are terribly written. Professors seem to be allowed to hide behind the twin [unacceptable] excuses of: 1) comparing their questions to the NCLEX exam, and 2) right to academic freedom.

My academic calendar just got lengthened, so my May 2016 graduation date was pushed back to June 2016. I am concerned this "accelerated" program could be lengthened again. 16 months is not accelerated.

Many of the professors provide an error-ridden, disorganized syllabus that basically requires you to read 1,000-2,000 pages of text book in 10-20 days and then figure out for yourself what is important.

I am lucky in that I am an excellent test taker, but every test feels like a crap shoot.

In the cohort previous to mine, 11 have "failed" and either joined my cohort or dropped out of the program altogether. Not sure if more on their way.

This place is a DISASTER. if you have other options: go elsewhere.

swhite1 Do you have an update about Roseman? Are you in Utah or Henderson? Does each school have separate Dean's?

Is there a contract of some kind explaining how they can lengthen or shorten the programs?

Is it easy to switch from the absn to the bsn program within Roseman?

What is your experience with the professors? Are they really unaccessible?

What do you think of the labs?

Roseman has several attractive attributes for my learning style and academic career timeline. But some of these comments have me worried to start in 10/2016.

How are the teachers amazing? Do they have office hours or is all communication done by email? How long have the professors worked for Roseman in Utah?

Did you end up starting Roseman in 7/2015? What do you think now that it has been just over one month?

Hi Everyone!

I am planning on attending Roseman University within the next year or so. I was hopeful and excited about this program but now I am scared, confused, and worried... Most of you guys that posted on this site about the ABSN program was years ago, I was wondering if there's anyone that's about to attend or who is already attending Roseman either in 2015/future years (if you're planning on applying for the program). I've read so many negative posts to AVOID Roseman at all costs. I'm a bit bummed because I was looking forward to it but now, I am more than skeptical... Please, if anyone is attending Roseman, please give me some info about the ABSN program!!

Hey you guys I am in the BSN program at Utah right now.. only 8 months to go!! Id be happy to answer any questions that you have... I am pretty active on this site. Just PM me or if you don't have enough posts comment to me and I will respond best I can. I am loving this school program and the pace and have no had issues with the testing formats at all.
