I would like to hear from students of this program, do you recommend it? I can't imagine doing the didactic portion of a Nursing program online and then coming to campus/clinical sites for the rest of the program. Are students graduating from this program confident of their nursing skills and then going on to successfully pass the NCLEX?

I talked to the admissions office at Roseman and they said that the program was regionally accredited. I also found out that this program is a COHORT, so I suppose the program is sort of experimental.

I would love to hear from current or graduated students of this program.

Thanks!

kinda depends on how strong your background is in medicine.

I was a biology major in undergrad.

I would do the 24 month program then. Nursing program is pretty intense as is. I was a bio/premed major and went to paramedic school sure I was going to rock the program and...it was very difficult even with a super sound knowledge of human physiology, pathophys etc.

thanks, are you a current student at Roseman?

Hi, can you tell me what you like about Roseman in Utah? I have been reading a lot of negative posts about the Vegas campus.

What do you want to know... I graduate from this program in June. Please feel free to message me or just ask specific questions here and I will make sure to address them for you.

I have some questions but this site will not let me PM. Thanks!

Do you feel like you are getting a good education from them? Are they organized as far as clinical placement? Thanks for the response.

I really do feel that I am getting a good education, but I am in the "in class" version, not online. The teachers all want you to succeed, and having the didactic up front and clinical placements after make me feel more prepared to perform. Clinical placements are diverse and interesting, never had a bad placement.

Hello,

I am a current student in the Accelerated BSN program at Roseman. I am about halfway through the program, and so far I have had a positive experience. The program is still relatively new, so there have been a few hiccups, but overall the faculty here have done a good job. The professors have always been helpful and friendly (not surprising considering they are nurses). I choose the program primarily because of the NCLEX pass rates. Now having been in the program and experiencing their exams, I can easily understand their high pass rates. Roseman does an excellent job of tailoring their tests to mimic the NCLEX. They also use test predictors to indicate how well you are prepared for the NCLEX. These are helpful in identifying your weak areas. My typical day is spent studying on campus, so I have not had any issues not having any lectures. Ultimately, your success in the accelerated program simply comes down to your discipline. Hope this helped.

Hi,

I am currently in the ABSN program at Roseman. About halfway through actually. I have had a very positive experience so far at Roseman. Therefore, I would recommend you save many months and come here. They really do do a good job of preparing us for the NCLEX and the professors have always been open and helpful. Cheers!
