I would like to hear from students of this program, do you recommend it? I can't imagine doing the didactic portion of a Nursing program online and then coming to campus/clinical sites for the rest of the program. Are students graduating from this program confident of their nursing skills and then going on to successfully pass the NCLEX?

I talked to the admissions office at Roseman and they said that the program was regionally accredited. I also found out that this program is a COHORT, so I suppose the program is sort of experimental.

I would love to hear from current or graduated students of this program.

Thanks!

this sounds like a really dream program! How many days a week do we have to report to clinicals? I only ask because i am not a resident of NV and wondering if commuting would possible, or if working would be possible?

It is 100% NOT possible to commute. There are people that are working during the program but mostly PRN or weekend work. The clinical schedule is not flexible. You are expected to be available days, nights and weekends every day for that time period.

I moved to Utah from Oregon and am doing a long distance relationship with my husband during the program. There is a lot more downtime than I expected. I have been traveling back home about once every 2-3 weeks, but you do need to move.

The clinical portion is 3 12 hour shifts a week. The schedule for clinical come out 2 weeks before the Block starts. Along with physically being in clinical for the 36 hours a week there are papers (care plans) and other work you have to do.

.....

oh wow thank you for the heads up! I was hoping that would be possible. But relocating for 15 months really isn't that bad. THank you for all your responses! I Really appreciate it :-)

No problem let me know if you have more questions

Hello there a few years have passed now and i was wondering if you could give us an update with your experience within the program. Were you able easily find work afterwards? This is all very expensive and I would hate to get myself into debt for nothing.

Hello thanks for posting and offering answers. Now that its 2018 I was wondering if you could share your thoughts about the ABSN program. Do you mind sharing your stats with which you were admitted with were? Also how was the program itself? Did a lot of people have to drop out of the program? Was it hard getting a job afterwards? I will have to take out loans to even be able to attend so I'm just wondering if its worth the time, money, and energy.
