ROSEMAN ABSN Summer 2021

Published

Hi all! I couldn't find any threads for Roseman's July 2021 cohort so thought I would start one. I am from California and applying to the Henderson NV campus. I know applications don't open until December 1st, but thought I would get a jump on this since many of us are getting application stuff together. Feel free to share stats, advice, or anything else!

Hello!

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how long after being accepted do you have to accept the offer!

Thanks in advance!

I just submitted my writing sample and wanted to check in here - should I expect a confirmation email that it was received or no? Worst nightmare is I accidently emailed it to wrong address or something...

Hello ! I sent my writing sample to [email protected]

I think they send an email the day before the interviews so no need to worry!

Hello hello! I got into the February 2021 cohort at Henderson and I was lookin over this forum with my friends who are also looking to get into the Summer cohort, and I just wanted to give a little bit of advice: Changes between campuses are near impossible even if you email with a good reason! ? My cousin and I applied together and we’re both 3rd round interviewees this past November and were planning on living together, and I was sent to Henderson while she was sent to South Jordan. We heard from prior cohorts how we just had to bother admissions for a switch, but to no avail. Just wanted to put it out there that it’s not easy to get a campus switch and please try not to get your hopes up because they’re really firm about decisions unless you give them a REALLY good reason.

Otherwise if you have any questions regarding interview/application processes, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me! The application and interview process was so stressful so I’m willing to help ?

Hi thank you for posting! I’ve got an interview on Wednesday and wanted to reach out and see what the interview process was like, and what kinds of questions were asked? I’m so nervous! I live in Henderson already, so I’m hoping I get accepted here, is there a chance they would still give me an invite to SJ even though I’m established here already ?

the interview process was actually quite simple, I was asked 5 questions all of which were simple!! I wouldn’t worry too much about it, just remain calm when asked questions and think about answers before you answer(:

Hi everyone! I have my interview tomorrow along with others on here.

Anyone else nervous about it even though we're just getting interviewed through zoom? LOL

Have you been practicing possible questions? I'm contemplating on doing that tonight just so I don't look like a fool waiting to answer haha

I have been trying! But I feel like it’s so difficult to practice for the unknown. I just don’t know how to truly successfully prepare.. you know?

Good luck on your interview! I was super nervous before, but they go over a presentation and a lot of information in the beginning so it kinda calmed my nerves. Then they put us in breakout rooms and I found it was pretty casual and they were so nice. I would say try to relax and think of it as more conversational and you will do great!

Thank you so much! I’m practicing having a conversation with my daughter about possible questions now. ? It definitely helps to speak out loud! Did you get accepted?
