Hi all! I couldn't find any threads for Roseman's July 2021 cohort so thought I would start one. I am from California and applying to the Henderson NV campus. I know applications don't open until December 1st, but thought I would get a jump on this since many of us are getting application stuff together. Feel free to share stats, advice, or anything else!

I was asked like 6 questions in the interview, so do practice questions from online to be comfortable. The person who interviewed me was really nice and relaxed. I got accepted into the Henderson campus for the Summer 2021 program. I was asked: 

What 3 things I did to prepare for nursing school ? 
How have I inspired and set an example for someone that was struggling ? 
Why I think compassion and caring are important to nursing ? 
How would I show professionalism as a student nurse ? 
Name a time where I had to earn someone’s respect and why ? 
I can’t remember the other one !

Do you guys plan on working during the program? And if so how many hours a week

I plan on transferring jobs out there and working maybe 5-15 hours a week depending on if there is a test or something important.

I plan on quitting my part time job right before classes start. I’m also a mom so I already have my work cut out for me!

I’m thinking of getting a per diem position at a hospital but I’m not sure how often I’ll be able to work

At the beginning of the meeting, they go over power points related to financial aid, program and more.. Than you meet two interviewers ( mine was one professor and one current student).  Not 100% sure but I think my Interview lasted about 10 minutes and it was pretty casual ?

Mine was about 13 minutes too

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how long after being accepted do you have to accept the offer!
