Roseman ABSN Fall 2022

Hello all, I just wanted to start a thread for those applying to Roseman's ABSN program for fall 2022 entry! 

I have yet to apply (I take my TEAS Feb. 7th) but plan to do so shortly after. Has anyone been accepted yet?

Hi did you get a conditional acceptance while taking courses? I currently have to take college algebra and my TEAS test.

You will get a conditional acceptance for your algebra course, but not the TEAS test.   Take the TEAS test asap depending on which cohort you want, the vegas location tends to fill up faster.

I second this! Henderson does tend to fill up faster than SJ. If you have some ties to LV/Henderson then they tend to be a bit more flexible.

Thank you. I am taking it on Monday and just found out I don’t need the college math anymore. They no longer require it

Can anyone share what the clinical requirements are? I'd like to get any labs, vaccines and a physical done before I make my move to Henderson. Admin says they will be sending out the instructions and requirements 30 days prior but I don't think that will be enough time for me to get everything figured out.

They will have you make a complio account and the account will have everything that you need to fill out. 

For the physical its a sheet that the doctor fills out.

Hello,

I am hoping that all you can offer some advice.  I am thinking of applying to this school for the ABSN. I have a Bachelors and a Masters in a non-nursing field.  I also hold a valid LVN license from California.  I was searching the website and I could not find any information on the requirements for science GPA as I have a low GPA.  I also could not find any prerequites.  How competitive is it to get in?  I do not test well so I am deathly afraid of the TEAS test.  Also how often do you have to travel to complete clinicals in Nevada and what is the length that you are in Nevada to complete them.  I am looking at different schools but I am wondering if this may be my best option.  Any information is helpful.
