Rosalind Franklin 2018

Published

Was just accepted to Rosalind Franklin for May 2018. I just wanted to start this thread to come into contact with others planning on attending or hoping to in May also.

Nice guys figured you would find out quick...congrats....where you all from? Im trying to figure out the living situation the school apartments from what ive seen are expensive cheaper to look outside

I'll be moving up there from Utah! I'll be needing a place to stay as well.

Im going to the new student admission day on feb 10th suppose to get more info about housing then so ill keep ya posted there is one in april too they said...im opening to rooming with someobe whatever to make it cheaper...not cheap in chicago area...i live hour and 20 minutes away but still moving closer because of the time committment obviously

Fantastic! The plane tickets are a bit too expensive for me to fly out for the 10th....but I will consider the one in April. I'm definitely down to room with someone else....not send myself even further into debt!!!!

I'm in Wisconsin, close enough that I can commute. I'll be at the new student day in February!

Looking forward to meeting you...how close are you? I have a friend thats in the program now and he lived where i do and still moved the anatomy class this summer is like 6hrs a day 5 days a week

I'm about a 45 minute drive north of the school, so not too bad. Hopefully there will be some lecture material I can record and listen to on the drive. I've found that helpful in the past.

Oh not bad at all and coming from the north your traffic might not be so bad id assume. Id have to drive thru quite a few of the burbs from where i am at and traffic sucks im sure you have seen in chicago a few times lol.

I was in the 9-12 group on Jan 25 too. Just found out yesterday I got in too! Congrats to everyone else who got in! This anatomy class sounds like it's gonna be a bear.

Congrats!! Where you coming from this may?

Lived in Oak Park for about 2 yrs, so I'm 45 min-1 hr south.

Specializes in ICU.

Hey guys! I sent in my application pretty close to the deadline, but was told they're still accepting applicants. How long did it take after your application was received to hear about an interview? I hope to join y'all in May!
