Opinions on Chamberlain College????
Looks like all the Chamberlain CCNE-accredited BSN programs are under a single listing. The Director of Licensing and Accreditation explained that the CCNE often posts a single listing where the head admistrator is based to make communications simpler. So all is well: The Chamberlain RN-BSN Online Program is accredited by the CCNE. Its listed as Chamberlain College of Nursing, Columbus, OH. Whew!

Opinions on Chamberlain College????
The NLNAC and CCNE accredit individual programs, not entire schools. So here's a problem I found: According to their website, "The associate and bachelor's degree programs in nursing at the Columbus and St. Louis campuses are accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC). The bachelor's degree program in nursing at the Addison, Columbus, Phoenix and St. Louis campuses is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)." They don't make any specific reference to the Online RN to BSN Program. Whats up with that? Also, when I did a search for them on the CCNE website, nothing comes up. The Columbus, OH and Saint Louis, MO programs did indeed show up on the NLNAC website, so that much is true. I'm emailing their Director of Licensing and Accreditation to clear things up. I certainly hope the RN to BSN Program is accredited because I was interested in that one!

Post-op? Diaphoresis? Tachycardia? Sounds more like compensated shock to me.

Change jobs in the Air Force?
Would my Chief Nurse look at me unfavorably for wanting to switch to MSC?

Change jobs in the Air Force?
Thanks for the quick response, wtbcrna. Would the MBA in Healthcare Administration help at all with career progression within the Nurse Corps? Also, since it isn't a nursing degree, would the AF even pay for it?

Change jobs in the Air Force?
Is it possible to change jobs/MOS's in the Air Force? I'm an RN working on my BSN to earn a commission into the Air Force, but I also have an acceptance letter for an MBA in Healthcare Administration from University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (I have a Bachelor's in Chemistry). Would it be possible to change jobs to Healthcare Administrator upon earning the MBA?

Excelsior and the Navy?
No more than 40% online, and therefore at least 60% in a traditional classroom setting.

Excelsior and the Navy?
I was told by my Navy Healthcare Professions Recruiter that a BSN degree must have at least 60% of the program in a traditional classroom setting.

No online degrees for Navy Nurses?
My local Navy Healthcare Recruiter here in Hawaii told me that to qualify for a commission in the Navy (Active or Reserve), your NLN or CCNE-accredited BSN must be no more than 40% online. I can't find anyone else who can verify this. I even tried calling various recruiters in the SoCal area, but none of them knew for sure. Can anyone verify this? Thanks in advance.
