Rosalind Franklin CRNA 2020

Nursing Students SRNA

Curious to find out if there are anybody else who also submitted applications for DNP CRNA at Rosalind Franklin University for May 2020 start date.

I got the hold email three days after the interview too. I too believe we have to wait until the next interview dates. Has anyone else gotten accepted on here though? Does anyone know how many interview dates are left?

I interviewed back in early November and also got put on hold along with a few of the people who work at my same hospital. It seems like they don’t reject anyone right away. I know there’s another round of interviews January 21 though

yeah, i wonder if they accept applicants and just waitlist/put on hold the rest of the applicants that interviewed. january 21 is a long ways away too!

That’s what’s a little disappointing about the process. While I’m glad there’s still hope, it’s not like the waitlist is particularly short, or that I made a short list, haha. Is January 21st the last interview date, or will there be at least one more, since the application deadline is January 15th?

Did you guys get an email from the university saying you were "on hold" specifically? I also interviewed on the 17th but have so far only gotten a thank you for interviewing email with a "we'll have a decision soon" type of deal.

Yes, and maybe that’s good news for you! Maybe since you haven’t gotten the hold email you’ll get an acceptance email after their holiday break. It doesn’t sound like anyone gets rejected at this point

Yeah I get that they’re rolling admission but I truly don’t see any benefit if a good portion of us have to wait until everyone interviews to find out. I remember the director saying that usually have one extra interview.. the website also says that they interview October through February so probably!

Yeah I got the on hold email about two days after the thank you for interviewing one! I hope that means you got in ?

I wonder how many people they interview in total? I read in a previous post that there are ~350 applicants? That's a huge number of candidates on a waitlist for 35 spots...

When I interviewed, I was told for the previous application cycle, they had around 350 applicants and interviewed around 90 applicants. I am not sure how many gets in from being waitlisted, but at this point, I am staying positive even for a last minute spot. Keep trying, look straight, and one day, we'll get there! ?

I’ll take a last minute spot too, and would be happy with that! I think each interview group has ~10 people, and the group on the 17th had 9. I think there has been at least 5 groups so far, right? For sure another one in January, and then who knows?

There were two interview groups in October (I interviewed the 29th). One in November, and one in December, I believe. Should be one or two more groups left!

Hey guys! I have my interview coming up in February and I am super excited but at the same time very nervous. I heard that there is an ICU test or something along those lines during the interview. Does anyone know anything about this, or are there certain questions that were asked about the ICU and scenarios pertaining to it? Also, does anyone know how many people were interviewing each candidate at a time?

Thanks so much!
