Rosalind Franklin CRNA 2020

Curious to find out if there are anybody else who also submitted applications for DNP CRNA at Rosalind Franklin University for May 2020 start date.

I was thinking about it but want to apply to the other schools in Illinois first to see if they will accept first. RF program is extremely expensive.

Thanks for responding. What schools are you looking to apply?

Currently a student in the program, if you are planning on applying make sure you do so early because it is a rolling application.

Do you know roughly how many students apply and how many students gets accepted?

Last cycle they received more than 350 applications, and only accepted 35. This year they are also only accepting 35.

Thanks! That's quite a lot of applicants for the number of available slots. Any tips? Do you mind sharing your stats ( experience, gpa, gre, etc.) during your application.

Specializes in CVICU.

I applied, got an email saying it can take up to 6 weeks for them to review the application.

Thanks for the info. I applied and only received the email to access the application portal for the checklist. I haven't received anything that says it could take up to six weeks. When did you submit your application?

I was shy of 2 years experience in the ICU, had a 4.0, 315 on gre, CCRN, actively involved on my unit and community. At the end of the day after you get the interview, its all about how you sell yourself.

350 applicants sounds like a pretty ambitious figure seeing that even the top schools usually average around 150 apps.

I am focusing my applications on Rush and northshore, also going to apply to SIUE and Millikin Decatur because why not

Any interview tips? How do you think can I best prepare? How do I sell myself? ?
