Hello all!

I have read all of the posts from the 2020 group and wanted to start the 2021 thread in hopes of connecting with other applicants while we all try and navigate this during the pandemic. I applied to RFU CRNA DNP program and have scheduled my interview. I have not received the email with the interview information in it, but I am certain it is via webcam. Does anyone have any additional info or tips of how to best prepare? I am of course revisiting all of my CCRN material! Has anyone else scheduled their interview, if so did you receive notification of being granted an interview? I log on and check my checklist frequently and when I logged on it was there for me to schedule, so I did. I am extremely excited, just curious if anyone else experienced this. Also, are they interviewing everyone since they will be over webcam? Looking forward to connecting with y'all!

I also applied. Where did you see that you had been invited to interview? Do they not send an email invitation?

Did you get an email that said “we’ve received your application here is your pin...?” They give you a pin and you make an account to access your application checklist. I was logging on in hopes I could see if my references had went through, but there was a link to schedule an interview. Let me know if this helps.

I logged back into NursingCas to try to figure this out and realized there was one thing I never finalized so RFU had not received my application ? thanks for creating this thread, otherwise I may have never checked! Good luck with your interview!

It’s still early! Good luck to you, if you hear anything else please drop it here! I also just noticed my interview slot only says “Doctorate of Nursing Practice” no specification of CRNA. I definitely applied for the CRNA entry and that’s what it even says on my checklist, I’m wondering if this is a completely different interview.

My confirmation for the interview also says "doctorate of nursing practice" w/ no specification of CRNA, but I'm sure it's still for the CRNA Entry Program. On my RFU portal under "Program and Terms Details" says Doctor of Nursing Practice: Nurse Anesthesia Entry. Excited to meet you guys! Which date you choose for your interview?

That’s what mine says too! I was wondering the same thing so I emailed them. The only DNP program they have is for CRNA. I just wanted to clarify if there are like 2 interviews or something. I wonder if they have gotten my references already too? They all told me they would reach out one they heard from them. Did you get an email notifying you of the interview? I chose Oct 6! Hbu?

Hi all, I too scheduled my online interview for RFU's CRNA program. I am very excited, as well as a bit anxious. I am revisiting my Peds CCRN material as well, plus going over some of my PALS and ACLS materials. Best of luck to you all!

Do we think this is only 1 interview or since it said DNP program online interview and didn’t specify “CRNA” or do we think it’s 2?

To my knowledge RFU only has the DNP for Nurse Anesthesia specialty. So I would assume it is the one interview.

To clarify, it is only one interview. They emailed me back this morning! Very exciting!

Had you emailed them asking, or are they just emailing everyone with information pertaining to interview?
