Hello all!
I have read all of the posts from the 2020 group and wanted to start the 2021 thread in hopes of connecting with other applicants while we all try and navigate this during the pandemic. I applied to RFU CRNA DNP program and have scheduled my interview. I have not received the email with the interview information in it, but I am certain it is via webcam. Does anyone have any additional info or tips of how to best prepare? I am of course revisiting all of my CCRN material! Has anyone else scheduled their interview, if so did you receive notification of being granted an interview? I log on and check my checklist frequently and when I logged on it was there for me to schedule, so I did. I am extremely excited, just curious if anyone else experienced this. Also, are they interviewing everyone since they will be over webcam? Looking forward to connecting with y'all!
Hi all! I was invited to an interview as well! Mine will be in mid-October. My email says "Doctor of Nursing Practice: Nurse Anesthesia Entry program". which is the CRNA program. Also, I noticed there were only 3 interview dates available. Two in October and one in November. Do you guys think it'll be a panel interview where there will be multiple of us interviewing at the same time?
I would also like to know if anyone has any tips on preparing for this interview as well. No specific questions needed. As of now, I am studying CCRN material along with ACLS.
Good luck to everyone else applying and everyone who has interviews lined up!
Hi! That is a very good point you make. I suppose they could have a handful of interviewers, but even then only have 3 interview times seems like it must be a large group of us. Maybe we split off into smaller groups for individual interviews? Who knows. As far as preparing I am doing similar to what you had said. Doing some research on interview type questions as well as going over all my CCRN notes. Good luck!

To everyone who is interviewing, congrats. Did anyone have trouble applying through NursingCAS? Even now I am unable to find the application.
Thanks
I would click on the link under application requirements and then create an account if you are new. Best of luck!
Just now, ATL05 said:Thanks for responding. I do have a NursingCAS account but when I search for the Rosalind Franklin program, the search yields no results.
I ran across the same issue. The RFU anesthesia program is using the latest application cycle. This tells me that you created your account last year. Update it and when they ask if you wanna carry over your information, say yes. I can totally relate to your problem. Otherwise, the program will not pop up when you search for it.
I had this problem initially. You have to make sure when you sign in you sign in through the 2020-2021 application. I made an account before the app was open and when I logged in it was the 2019-2020 application period so it wouldn’t show up. Just try and Google NursingCAS 2021 application and sign in through there. Hope this helps.

I emailed the graduate admissions office specifically to ask if the DNP interview I scheduled was for the CRNA entry and they said yes. It was just a little confusing since it was labeled “doctor of nursing practice online interview.”
