Rosalind Franklin CRNA 2020

Updated:   Published

Curious to find out if there are anybody else who also submitted applications for DNP CRNA at Rosalind Franklin University for May 2020 start date.

I just submitted my application a couple days ago. Is it too early to hear back for an interview?

Also I do not have my GRE score since I am taking it next week. Will this hurt my application or cause it to not be looked at?

Thanks!

Hey everyone,

I posted previously that I was placed on hold. I did find out last week I was accepted! It really seems that they look at the all previous applicants placed on hold as well as the newest interview group.

@ciasto123 From my understanding, they still have interview groups in December and January, so as long as you get your GRE score in by the deadline, you should still have a chance at scoring an interview!

Congratulations @FE3H_RNon being accepted! Hope to join you! Do you mind sharing your stats?

@ciasto123 good luck taking your GRE and to your application as well!

@mikesrnahopeful

I have a 3.6 cumulative GPA and 3.8 science GPA. 310, 4.5 on the GRE.

2 years in a CVICU, CCRN, preceptor, super user stuff, and a research project.

If you look good on paper, you just have to nail the interview! I honestly thought I came off as super nervous and talked in circles. If anyone is placed on hold, don't lose hope -I was accepted after being placed on hold!!!

@FE3H_RN thanks for sharing. Hope to join you this may 2020 ?

Hey, guys!

To anyone accepted, have you heard any information about completing background checks or a new student checklist? I haven't heard anything, but maybe they are waiting until interviews are wrapped up next year?

Just wondering how many people on here have actually been accepted this cycle? I'm currently "on hold", and still trying to stay hopeful, since I know there should be at least one more round of interviews in January. Does anyone that interviews actually get rejected, or is it either "on hold" or "accepted"? Makes me wish I didn't have conflicts with earlier interview times though...

@neuroCCRN when did you interview?

The way a couple people explained it to me is that a select "for sure" candidates are accepted from the every interview group and then they evaluate the whole pool of "on hold" applicants. Unsure if I have heard of anyone getting outright rejected after interviewing.

I interviewed on Tuesday, the 17th. I wonder how many “for sure” people get admitted each time. I wish there was a way to know if there is a ranking of some sort, or how they compare things. I would just really like to know how many have been accepted this far, actually. I’m driving myself crazy, haha.

I also interviewed on the 17th. I am on hold right now too. I wonder when they will make their next rounds of consideration for admission. Do we have to wait until the round of interviews in January pass first? Best of luck!

When did you find out about your hold? I do think held candidates need to wait for the next round of interviews to pass.

I got the email about being put on hold a couple of days after the interview.
