Roll Call - Who's starting this summer/fall?

I know there's been a thread on this subject before, but it's been a while and now that acceptances (and rejections :o) have been rolling in, I bet there are some more to add to our ranks.

Just curious, since I have such a hard time keeping everyone on the board straight - who among us will be starting nursing school this summer and/or fall?

I start the BSN program at TWU on August 31. I'm torn between excitement and fear. :)

I will start the RN program in August! That is if I pass MAH 099 this summer. I have all the ENG, PY etc. classes, except for microbiology completed.

I start LPN school in August. I am glad to have the summer off to spend with my kids and help my husband get his business going, but I am also impatient to start. I signed a contract last week with a hospital near me, so my financial worries are alleviated slightly.

Alright Manna...you asked! LOL! But you already know all about me! I'm Kim, 30 years old, three little peanuts and starting my ADN in the fall. I have some pre-req's under my belt from three years ago when I started but was preggo with my daughter and didn't go into the actual program. I was very, very, very lucky to get in this year since I applied AFTER the deadline and for next fall. For some reason, they took me for this fall and I am actually glad that they did! They only took 70 out of something like 300 applicants so I guess I am extra blessed and plan on doing everything I can to prove that I deserve that spot!

I start an ADN program this fall. I am still completing prereqs this summer. I am 36 with two kids and this is second career for me. :balloons:

I will be starting the RN program in August. I am scared to death!! :imbar I am also sooo excited, and I just hope I can grasp it all and not do something stupid. Do any of you worry making a mistake that might hurt someone? I will probally be slow as a turtle because I will be triple checking everything!! Good Luck to all of you CRB613

I will be starting in the Fall also. I won't know if I'm accepted or not into my current CC's nursing program. I have been accepted into an out-of-county nursing program though. So either way, I'll just have to decide. I am very excited though...nursing school here I come!!!! :roll

If all goes well, I will start clinicals this fall (aug). I'm really a bit scared as well as excited beyond reason. I'll find out for sure in about a week and can hardly stand the wait! Glad to hear there are others here who are starting then.
