Just Keep Pushing Forward And Don't Give Up,it Will Be Worth It In The Long Run

Hello everyone, I have been an LVN for a little less than a year and start my last semester of the RN program at the local CC on August 28.

I am an LPN for the past 13 years and am almost finished with Rn program. It was a little harder for me with the pre-reqs because I had to retake everything as the program I originally attended was only a diploma program. It has bee a long stretch but now it is almost over. I can hardly wait!

HELLO Nursing Family!!!

Im a 27 year old LPN studying at AASU in Savannah Georgia. I will be taking nursing research, an independent study course of 2 hours and Adult Med surg 2. I have worked in corrections for 3 years.

Hi, everyone. I'm twenty-eight years old and I've been an LPN for 2 years now. I've worked on med-surg, telemetry, and now i'm doing agency. I'm doing the Excelsior program now. I just have to enroll. I finished my prereq's because I also have a BS in counseling. I passed NC 1&2. I'm planning on taking NC 3 next month. I have a sign posted in my room to keep me motivated saying that "I WILL BECOME AN RN. My goal is to complete the program in 2007. I've been getting my study guides from chancellor's and their study guides are good. I planned on climbing the ladder to get my BSN and Masters too. It is just one-step at a time.:D :D

Hello All! I am a 44 y/o LPN for 20 years. I just had my first day of the transition nursing program at a local cc. I am still in a daze. I look at the syllabus and get nauseated! We have to do this journaling exercise for a grade, in something called APA format. I am as lost as can be and its just the first day. HELP!!

Hi. Kristy here. I just graduated nursing school and I am waiting to take my state boards (LPN, LVN). My next step is to MOVE, ANYWHERE. I can literally throw a dart at the map and call it my home. I have no kids and my fiance is stationed with the airforce and moves all year long. So basically, I am asking those of you who are out there, where should I go. I want to continue and get my RN, so it's up to yall to help me decide where. Any and ALL advice, and or comments would be appreciated. I am stressing over this and can't make up my mind, so please HELP!!!! Thanks and God Bless.

Hello are you having problems with the APA format? If so I have a copy of what my cc gives as guidelines for APA. Let me know and I can send them to you. Hang in there you can do it. You have been a nurse for 20 years you know the important stuff now you just have to do it the way they tell you for a little while. It won't be long and you will be back out there as an RN.

Thanks LVN06 I would appreciate any help. I hope you are right about just having to do things their way. I hadn't thought about it like that.
