RN with stipulations looking for work in DFW

Nurses Recovery

Hi, I am new to this site. I am an RN with stipulations looking for a position in DFW. It seems everywhere I interview won’t do stips, even if the hiring managers are fine with it, HR is not. At this point my only stipulation is indirect supervision by another RN, no hospice, no home health, and a quarterly report by my supervisor. I am so very frustrated. Any advice would help.

Doing clinical research in oncology. A lot to learn, but I’m happy not to be doing regular nursing.

I just saw a job with a research company out of Dallas. Does it pay well?

With experience it does. Especially for nurses.

How do you get experience?

I know this is an old thread- but Lindsay did you end up getting a job for UHS? I’m praying they’ll hire me!

Hello there,

So did you land up with a job? I am pretty much new in my career and now this reprimand. I did not even know this will stick with my license forever. I am very frustrated. Can I never find a job in a long term care as well.? please advise. Thank you.

Hello! Yes I did end up with a job. Have you tried psychiatric facilities?

Wow. No I havent tried psych facilities. Can you give an example of what kind of psych facilities? I want to work in LTCs rather. Are they stipulations friendly?

Any kind of psychiatric facility. There are specific psychiatric hospitals. I do not know about LTACs but some are friendly according to what I’ve read in other posts.

I was not board ordered so I am not sure about it being stuck on your license forever. I’m sorry I can’t help more with that part. In my experience, wait until you get an interview with a place before letting them know about TPAPN. Try and gauge if they like you and then tell them.

This is an old post. But I was wondering if anyone had any updates on places in the DFW that are stipulation (indirect supervision and quarterly evaluation) friendly. Any information would be helpful!

Apply to any UHS facility. Very board order friendly.
