I believe there are programs like this but they are hard to find. Louisville has an MSN program but it is not financial aid eligible. If you can afford it, you may want to start there. Also, I have heard Galen is not accredited and my friend had a heck of a time with them. Double check! Good luck!
Thanks for the reply. Galen just received their ACEN accreditation last month so no issues there. What about online programs with few campus visits? Are you familiar with any of those?
The University of Louisville has a program called Master's Entry into Professional Nursing (MEPN) for people who have a Bachelor's degree in another discipline. But once you graduate this program you will have both your BSN and MSN. Check out the website for more information:

That program is for non-nurses and includes basic nursing education along with the graduate content. Programs like that don't take people who have already completed nursing school. The OP could do that instead of going to Galen, but wouldn't be eligible for the program after completing a nursing program at Galen.

Hello I am starting the RN program at Galen this summer. I already have a bachelors degree but it is not in nursing. I was wondering if I can get my RN and bypass a BSN by going directly to an MSN program? Do you know of any programs like this in Kentucky around the Louisville and Bowling Green area? Any insight would be helpful.
