Riverside School of Health Careers RN program

Hello everyone!

I am looking for current, past, and even prospective students for Riverside's RN program. I will be applying for the September 2013 professional nursing program. For current or past students, what was your GPA and teas score? Also how was the program, instructors, clinicals? I did attend the last open house in December and I was hoping that a student or recent grad would be there to talk about their experience. I love how the instructors seem to be really supportive and the small campus also appealed to me. To other prospective students what start date are you applying to and do you have any other nursing/healthcare experience? Any advice or other information on the program is greatly appreciated!

Yea I agree with you! It is such a popular profession but the supply and demand for nurses does not match up. I just thank goodness it is not an oversaturated market in our area. Some areas and states are churning out all these new grads when seasoned nurses can't even find jobs.

But, at least with Riverside and Sentara, they will hire their grads over any other school in the area, so at least you have a foot in the door right fro the start!

Yeah that is true! That's why I like both of the schools so much, and the clinical experience

Yes, that is definitely why I decided to apply to Riverside. I didn't have all my pre-reqs for Sentara.
