Riverside School of Health Careers RN program

Hello everyone!

I am looking for current, past, and even prospective students for Riverside's RN program. I will be applying for the September 2013 professional nursing program. For current or past students, what was your GPA and teas score? Also how was the program, instructors, clinicals? I did attend the last open house in December and I was hoping that a student or recent grad would be there to talk about their experience. I love how the instructors seem to be really supportive and the small campus also appealed to me. To other prospective students what start date are you applying to and do you have any other nursing/healthcare experience? Any advice or other information on the program is greatly appreciated!

Ahhhhh yay! Did she say anything to you about the mail taking longer like the recruiter said to me? Maybe we will get them tomorrow if they really don't take that long!

No, she just said that letters were sent out yesterday. I know when I get mail from Richmond, I get regular mail is 2-3 days. My mom said that due to all the cuts with postal services, the mail goes to Norfolk to be sorted then it is sent out so I'm thinking maybe Monday! :)

Did Riverside say how long you have to accept or decline your spot? I hope for all of you applicants that Sentara's letters go out this week too!

I've never heard how long we have but I know sentaras decision will be made by the 30th

I'm not sure of how much time we get to accept or decline the seat. You better believe, if I am accepted, I'll be going in my next day off of work to pay my tuition deposit and for the background check! :-)

No letter today. Maybe tomorrow I will finally have an answer! :-) Realistically, probably won't know until next week.

I am considering apply to Riverside for the January 2014 start if I don't get into Sentara's program? Does anyone know if we have to take the TEAS V again or will they pull the score.
