Riverside School of Health Careers RN program

Published

Hello everyone!

I am looking for current, past, and even prospective students for Riverside's RN program. I will be applying for the September 2013 professional nursing program. For current or past students, what was your GPA and teas score? Also how was the program, instructors, clinicals? I did attend the last open house in December and I was hoping that a student or recent grad would be there to talk about their experience. I love how the instructors seem to be really supportive and the small campus also appealed to me. To other prospective students what start date are you applying to and do you have any other nursing/healthcare experience? Any advice or other information on the program is greatly appreciated!

Yes that is a good sign! :-)

I am so so so excited!

Yay, I'm excited for u! I hope and pray I have some good news coming in the mail next week!

I am SURE you will :)

Happy belated birthday! :-)

Awwww thank you!!!

You're welcome!

I hope letters got sent out today or are getting sent out tomorrow

Me too! I had a few questions so I sent the recruiter an email. There were about 50 people that interviewed for the September class. Also we do get books each term/as needed and not at once (thank goodness because there are schools that require u to get them at once). Students ahead of us or exiting/grad students even sell their books. I'm so excited, can't wait for this letter to get here!

Only 50 people! That's not bad at all! Did he say how many exactly are being accepted? He said 30-35 and Ms.W always said 32

Aww shucks, I meant to ask him that too, he told me 30-35 when I first asked him back in December. I never asked Ms. W but I think you told me 32 before and I've read that in older posts. I know he told me that the number is typically chosen based upon the need of Riverside.

Well hopefully it was 35. I wish nursing schools weren't so competitive, I feel bad that not everyone gets a chance to do what they want
