Hello I wanted to start a thread for RCC Nursing Spring 2015!!!!! Anyone that will be applying to the program for spring 2015 lets get together to chat and support each other through this process!!!!! Good Luck everyone!!! Hope to see u guys in class next spring!!!:)
Hey Manny welcome to the thread... How many points do you have Manny? RN2B, that's so cute. Make sure you are able to balance your time. He can't help but to be clingy to his mommy. That's his job to be clingy to his mommy. My 17 and 13 yr old sons are still clingy to me. I would love to study with you. I gotta first get accepted though.
Hey everyone, I am currently trying to get accepted for Spring 15' as most of you are too. I took the TEAS with RCC and scored 85% which put me at 85 points. Crossing my fingers that we all get accepted. Once we get accepted do any of you have any info on what is next to come as far as preparation to start. I have been hearing things such as uniform, immunization, certain books and materials that are mandatory upon starting our first semester. I am totally clueless and trying to arrange my finances to prepare for what is to come in the next couple months seeing that I am not receiving financial aid. If any of you have any insight please HELP LOL.

Hello, congrats on a good score on your Teas exam. Intake will be in December that is when we will need to get our shots, or proof of immunity. I was told to have at least $2000 for the supplies, books, uniforms, and $450 for ATi That's not including tuition. You need to have that late December to early January. The good thing is most of the cost is due at the beginning of the program. The only thing after that is our tuition, parking and maybe a book or two later in the program. The Background and immunization you should start right after intake which is around the 19th. We all have been saving, so start saving now if you have not been. I also hear that you should not work while in this program or just work part time. I looked at last semester schedule and it was like working full time. They even had two 12 hr clinical rotation. Good Luck to you.
