Hello everyone. I just wanted to start the thread for all the new applicants of RCC's Nursing Program for Spring 2014. This thread is to help each other stay current with old and new information about the program. Share your thoughts about the application process, teas V preparation, acceptance, and support group. Let the applications begin!!
Go to this link it shows you all the cna programs in the state http://www.cdph.ca.gov/services/trai...ngPrograms.pdfWondering if anyone knows a quick CNA course I can take…I'm at 80 points overall. I would like to get the extra 5 from the CNA in case I don't get in and have to apply in Sprng...
The school I went to was in Corona, and clinicals were in Pomona, it was a 20 day course, all in all it was OKAY. It seems like they care about you in the beginning but as soon as you pay in full it seems like they forget about you and move on to the next person they are trying to get their money from. Right now they are advertising a 16 day program. It's called Pacific Times Healthcare College.Wondering if anyone knows a quick CNA course I can take…I'm at 80 points overall. If you have the funds for it than go for it, but I think its safe to say you are good with 80 points I would not worry :)

Thank you for your help. Good luck to us! I will wait for RCC's response, and go from there.
Hi, I am not yet applying to nursing schools, I am hopefully applying to RCC's nursing program sometime soon. But I currently Attend SCC, I am really confused on the transfer process and I was hoping someone could clarify for me. I want to know the prerequisite courses for RCC and basically everything else it takes to get in, or what you did to get in. I have yet to meet with a counselor again after a horrific experience with the ones at SCC. haha. Please Help, it would greatly be appreciated, I have wanted to do this since I was in 7th grade and its the time to get my life started! Couldnt be more excited for all the experiences ahead of me.

Everything you need to know is under the Enrollment/Admissions Information heading.
Transferring to RCC is relatively easy, just make sure your courses get counted for. Also you have to take the Anatomy&Physio sequence in one school, you cant take 2a in one school and 2b in another.
Just look at the link or try to go to an Info Session :)

I think last fall was also 80 seats, maybe there are some seats apart for the LVN-RN bridge? (:
