Passed the NCLEX... and You WILL TOO!! Here are some tips!!!
Thank you very much for all of the information you provided! I take mine on June 8th. I am going to start studying tomorrow. I hope that is enough time. If not, I'll reschedule. I have Saunders and Lippincott so I'll be using Saunders online questions. I'm gong to purchase Kaplan. Just making sure that this is the one you got How do you prefer to prep for the NCLEX-RN®? I'll get the Nclex RN mastery app as well. I was just going to do practice questions and do rationales. I wasn't going to do actual content review. Do you recommend against that? Thank you!

Simple Misdemeanor + Career Change
I just got approved with a criminal record in a much stricter state. You will be fine. Trust me. Do not get any other convictions (obviously). Run a Life Scan report on yourself. It will show you exactly what the BRN will see. If nothing pops up, you don't even have to report it. If it does, you simply get whatever certified court documents you can get, write a good letter of explanation, get letter of explanations from instructors and apply.

Expunged charges and licensure
I just got approved by the BRN with a criminal record. First, get a life scan report. That will show you everything that they will see. Report anything that pops up on the Life Scan Report. You must obtain certified documents from the court for your previous convictions. If you can't do so, get a certified form from them stating they no longer have it. You must obtain police reports (not gonna happen). Again, get a certified form from them stating they no longer have it. You must show all/any proof of rehab: DUI classes, anger management classes, whatever you did (if anything). Get letter of recommendations from instructors. Write a good letter of explanation. Hire someone on Craigslist to proof read your letter and add corrections were needed. Be honest about all of your convictions when writing your letter. They don't want to hear excuses. They want you to be upfront and show that you have since grown. I will say that getting all of the required documentation is extremely time consuming. Also, look on your state's BRN website. It will tell you what you must disclose to them. Again, expungement/dismissal convictions will still show up on Life Scan reports. That is what the BRN uses so just report what shows up on your Life Scan report. Don't report anything that doesn't show up on there. Good Luck!!!!

I registered under a different program of study, since Registered Nursing was not available in web advisor. Did anyone else have the same issue. I visited the admissions office and they couldn't find Registered Nursing as a program of study either.
