I thought I would begin a thread for everyone applying to the nursing program at Riverside City College for the spring 2016. Hope we can share about our process here. :)
Currently, I'm finishing up my Anatomy/Physiology 2 and Sociology 100 at CSUSB. So far, I've been doing well, I think haha! If I finish with an A in sociology I'll have a 4.0 for my general eds and a 3.0 for my science gpa. After the spring quarter, I'll be studying for the TEAS exam for a little over a month and take the exam in July. Any advice that's related to the TEAS exam?

There's not much homework per say... There's a lot of tests. The 5 tests are 75% and the final is 20% and the 5% is your homework which is called passports and a project you gotta do. So most of what you are doing is the reading.
I don't know if you guys are having a bootcamp? Before school starts? If so they will give you a 2 weeks syllabus, I would recommend getting ahead on the reading!!! It's overwhelming but focus on fundamentals, I didn't open any other books really
Hey. I've got a pdf copy of the foundations, med surg and pharm book. I'm more than happy to share the love if you don't want to buy the physical copies. Yes they are the right editions, I have all of these downloaded on my phone and Samsung tablet with no problem. You'll still need to buy the the med surg course points. No, I am not asking anything other than you share with others (although.. I wouldn't say no to a friendly ice cold Dr. Pepper some school day I've forgotten my wallet

Alas I am old and have never figured out how to email a file. ("successfully"..) I am, however, on campus mon and wed for the 9 am pharmacology class. I have them on a flash drive so if you bring a lap top you can copy them or if you bring me a flash I can load and return them next class. Look for the tallish old lady with use-to-be auburn medium length hair and a giant butt.. if that's difficult email me and I can try and meet you somewhere else. [email protected]
