Riverside Community College Nursing Program Spring 2016

Published

Hi everyone!

I thought I would begin a thread for everyone applying to the nursing program at Riverside City College for the spring 2016. Hope we can share about our process here. :)

Currently, I'm finishing up my Anatomy/Physiology 2 and Sociology 100 at CSUSB. So far, I've been doing well, I think haha! If I finish with an A in sociology I'll have a 4.0 for my general eds and a 3.0 for my science gpa. After the spring quarter, I'll be studying for the TEAS exam for a little over a month and take the exam in July. Any advice that's related to the TEAS exam?

Hope we can begin this thread. Best wishes to everyone here!:up::)

Eeeeek the business week just closed ! Getting closer

I know! Less than a week and we will know. Can't wait!!

Well someone called SP yesterday and he said "within 2 weeks" and im omg really??? Lol so im hoping next week but i guess i can hold my breath until the 18 th lol

Oh man this is torture lol ya just a waiting game now.

I've been trying so hard not to count the days down but it's impossible. By the time we find out my nails will be bitten down to the skin :nailbiting:

Hi im not applying for the upcoming semester but I have a question has anyone taken a cna course and if so do you think it will help with nursing school? and is it a requirement? I need some advice

I know as is gets closer the anticipation is killing me!!!!

The CNA is not a requirement for the RN program, but it does give you 5 extra points. A few of my friends took the CNA course right before and it helped them during the first few weeks because they had had no prior hosptial experience.

And just to calm some of your nerves, no one with an 80 has never not gotten in. So 80's + don't be nervous! This last semester we had people called the week of school starting to get added. Some people got in with 65s! :)

Hello lunalovegood25,

Thank you for the encouraging words!

I wanted to ask you what was the total amount that we have to pay upfront(if any) once

we get accepted or if we get to make payments as we go?

Thank you in advance!
