Hi everyone!
I thought I would begin a thread for everyone applying to the nursing program at Riverside City College for the spring 2016. Hope we can share about our process here. :)
Currently, I'm finishing up my Anatomy/Physiology 2 and Sociology 100 at CSUSB. So far, I've been doing well, I think haha! If I finish with an A in sociology I'll have a 4.0 for my general eds and a 3.0 for my science gpa. After the spring quarter, I'll be studying for the TEAS exam for a little over a month and take the exam in July. Any advice that's related to the TEAS exam?
Hope we can begin this thread. Best wishes to everyone here! :)
Hey guys,
I'm also going to be applying for the spring 2016 nursing program! I'm glad this thread is going on and hope we can all be of some support to each other throughout this entire process. I'm also applying to mt. sac, rio hondo, and valley but rcc is definitely my first choice. I'm nervous but really excited to get this process going! Good luck to all of you!

Glad to hear that you're applying for the nursing program! Good lucky to you as well! Have you taken the TEAS exam already?
Hopefully more people join this thread.
@jeannetteNo not yet, my appointment to take it is in August but I'm going to start soon. I'm aiming for a 90 so I'm crossing my fingers!
Have you taken it yet?
Good luck with the exam! I'm planning on taking it in the middle of September. It'll give me some time to study. I hope I can score in the 90's as well or high 80's. :)
So far I have 50 points without the TEAS.

Hi! :]
Glad to hear that you are resuming your nursing education. I also come from CSUSB (am currently a student there) and I do not have a chance of applying to their nursing program. I was pretty bummed myself and was planning to change major into the health management. However, after doing research and taking a few classes, I knew that wasn't for me. The counselor even told me to switch majors because I won't be graduating with a BS in nursing. But I'm not giving up :)
I wish you the best in applying to this program. I've been hearing great reviews about this program.
I'm going to the information workshop next Thursday as well. I'm planning to meet up with the counselor one more time before applying :]
