Riverside Community College fall 2014

Published

Just submitted my application for fall 2014 at RCC!! Waiting on receipt confirmation!

I'm so nervous! I really hope I get invited to take the teas at rcc. Does anyone know if next semester they will accept a different score if I dont do too good this time around? Or do they take only that score?

From what I have read on the RCC nursing website and specifically the nursing power point they only accept the first passing score. I took my TEAs December 2012 and it still stands as my first passing score. I wouldn't be too worried though! As long as you prepare in advance you should do very well!

Is this your first time applying to rcc nursing program ?

Hi!

I had a quick question for any of you who have applied for RCC. The language section for points, how many years/courses of the language do they consider proficient for this part? 2 or 3? Thanks!

One Semester of a college level course or 1 year of a foreign language in high school.

Just took TEAS this morning... Longest test ever!!! I got an 80% , so I'll have 90 points total... So happy that it's over!!

Congrats jaderachel01, and welcome to the 90s boat :)

Thank you!!! Soooo happy to be a part of it lol

Does anyone know when orientation is if you get in?

Congrats! Thats an awesome job jaderachel01! I signed up to take the tease at loma linda on the 25th of April and i must say i feel very overwhelmed! I started to study very early on but then i stopped about a week later and now i feel like i wont have enough time to reveiw all the material . I am beyond nervous. Any advice from those who have recently taken the teas? Is there any specific topics us newbies should focus on? Any advice is greatly apreciated. Thanks in advance!

First off Congrats on your points. Do you mind me asking if you took the practice tests? Did you know you weren't gonna get invited to take teas or was it just as a backup?

I was the same way!! I started off strong studying everyday and then stopped for awhile! Honestly, if you just go through the manual and do the online practice test you'll be fine!! The actually test is harder then the manual but easier then the online test. I felt like the math was most similar to the manual and the science was the most random. I hope this helps!!! Let me know of you have any more questions ;)
