  1. Hi everyone, so I wanted to share my experience. I finished my exam at 9:48 am 12/13/16 with 75 questions. I was the 2nd person to arrive at test center. Thank God I was given a corner computer. I graduated nursing school May 2016. I applied late to the BRN, dumb mistake don't do it. I'm in CA. They were behind 3 months when I applied. I had a DUI on my record from like 7 years ago. Which took my application even longer. I got my ATT approval 11/8/16. I originally had given my self a month to study but pushed my date back. I have 4 boys that were out of school for a week for Thanksgiving break. With that being said, I studied as much as I could. My kindergartner was out every day at noon. Yes, I had a husband who helped when he could. He's an R.N. who sleeps in the day and works at night. I prepared myself for this exam beginning with a 3 day live Hurst review at the end of July. I also started studying NCSBN but soon realized I could not keep up with their study schedule. I bought a Kaplan NCLEX-RN premier 2016 book. I finished half the book because then I got worried I wasn't doing enough questions online. So then I came across Uworld. I tried their 25 questions for free and I was sold. I did a total of 6 exams each 75 questions long. I tried to do one everyday, but sometime they would carry over to the next day. I read all the rationales even the ones I got right. I forgot to mention I bought la charity too. that really helped too. I feel confident that I passed but I'll let you guys know in a couple of days. Btw if you guys are going to spend money on anything spend it on Uworld. It's reasonably priced and I feel it prepared me for this exam.
  2. and I posted it in the wrong section. Of course

  4. Where's all the Fall 2014 SBVC nursing students?
  5. Thanks! Good luck. I'll try and stay in touch if I'm not overwhelmed by nursing program.
  6. I was on waitlist forever. Not anymore. I start in Aug. Have you taken your Hesi entrance exam. Everything that is on test is covered in book. Hope you get in.
  7. For those of you waiting, I just wanted to share some things you can be doing while waiting. I've set my phone to military time to get used to it. Learned some commonly used nursing abbreviations. Schedule your physical sometimes it takes a long time to get an appt. Tdap hurts your arm for a couple of days. Anyone else have any suggestions?
  8. Thanks Bree. You never know though think positive. Maybe others on waitlist don't end up at SBVC. I know I almost didn't take my spot to test at RCC for teas. Maybe you can try the new point system if you haven't already. Either way hope you get in soon.
  9. I was scheduled to take it Thur. since my nursing orientation was Wed. at SBVC. After orientation I decided it was probably best for me to stay there since I was already accepted, had all the books free, and I know someone who will be in there last semester when I start in Fall. Plus there's never traffic on the 215 going to SBVC. It was just the right decision to make for me. So less competition for you guys:) best of luck to all of you. I know you'll get in cldomine after seeing your score.
  10. My brain is definitely fried. I can't sleep:( either. Well I wish everyone the best of luck. If it's meant to be it will.
  11. No, I didn't apply there, sounds far. I only applied at SBVC and RCC.
  12. I'm having the hardest time trying to study, I just can't seem to focus. Anyone else?
  13. Wow wasn't done typing. Lol. What hospitals do you go to?
