Just submitted my application for fall 2014 at RCC!! Waiting on receipt confirmation!
I only took it as a back up, because the TEAS offered through RCC is right on the deadline and I was nervous I wasn't going to pass!!! ;/ My science GPA is a 4.0. I lost 5 point on my general end and then 5 points on my TEAS.Did you get the extra 5 points for having a cna or bachelors ?
And Congrats on the teas !!!!! :-) my biggest struggle is going to be the reading section ...how bad was that section on the real test ? :-)

I wanted to take it at LLU since it's closer and cheaper, but they didn't start testing till mid this month and in almost eight months pregnant... Soooo, I just wanted to get it over with LOL[/quote'] I just got accepted at SBVC but I really want to go to RCC. I got accepted to take to Teas last semester at RCC but didn't show b/c I know they only accept first attempt. I felt like I wasn't prepared to take it. My heart is with RCC but SBVC is a little closer and I know someone there in 3rd semester who is willing to give me everything they have. I think I'll wait and hopefully get invited to take teas at RCC and hopefully get accepted too.
Thanks! I have been studying as much as my one year old lets me and its pretty challenging so I can understand why you wanted to get the Teas over with! Lol i wake up early to study and go to bed late to study. I also study during his naps and whenever i can get him to stay still, usually with a movie lol.
Oh and congrats on your acceptance to SBVC mram34!
Did you accept at SBVC mram34? I am pretty sure that I will get accepted at MSJC and they are sending out their acceptances letter in April/May. I don't know if I should accept and do all the orientation and the physical and when I get the acceptance from RCC, deny the spot at MSJC. However, then I have to do the physical for RCC again. So I don't know what I should do. What are you going to do mram34?
Does any one know what conversion we will need to know by memory, if any? For example, cm to meters, grams to pounds, farenhiet to celsius or kelvin? Oh and any formulas we should know by memory? Like area, perimeter, density, volume and others! Also do we need to know the periodic table by heart?

I'm going to accept just in case I don't get in at RCC. I don't think you'll have to redo a physical, you should just be able to take new form to your Dr.'s office and they should just feel out your new form. I think I will deny spot at SBVC once and if I get accepted at RCC. First I have to get invited to Teas exam as I don't have a backup. "Sometimes you have to let go of what you want to happen and allow what needs to happen." So if it's meant to be than awesome if not, here I come SBVC.Did you accept at SBVC mram34? Yeah I know people who have graduated and some who are still attending the nursing program there. It all come down to the pros and cons which I'm still working out. For example, the passing NCLEX rate is higher at RCC. They have a new Nursing building. I can also get my bachelors from Cal State Fullerton by attending I think if recall one a week at RCC and I can probably go on. On the other hand SBVC is a little closer. I wouldn't have to buy books as they would all be given to me by a friend that's currently in 3rd semester. Not to mention notes and so forth. Will see what's meant to be will be.I went to SBVC for my science prerequisites and heard their program is great!
