I got A's in all the sciences as well ! I'm going into the teas with 55 pts! I'm hoping to get a 90 on the teas so ill have 90 points but that might not happen lol !!! So hoping at least 85 pts total too !!! I think that's a good amount of points but i heard the program gets more competitive each year :0 !!!
yup! sad to say.
Did you take the teas at rcc? I was wondering if you get the score right when you are done taking the test or do you have to wait ? :)

Hello everyone,
I also applied for the fall 14 program at RCC. I took the teasV last August and got a 84%. In my opinion the science and math portion were the easier ones ( I got in both sections above 90%). I had the most difficulties with the reading section. I thought it was really hard, especially when you are a slow reader like me :) . However, I am still very happy with my overall score. I would advise you as well to invest in the ATI study guide because everything you need to know is in there. My general and science GPA is a 4.0 in both. So I will have 90 points total :).
I wish all of you guys luck and stay positive.

Wow 90 points that's great !!!! I'm hoping to have 90 points after the teas test hopefully :/ !!! It looks like this year is going to be competitive!!! You are pretty much guaranteed inthe program with that amount of points :-)
Do I get the ATI study manual on their website?
cldomine, you will be fine, you already got 55 points. Just try to score above 79% on the teas and you will get in.
What I have figured out so far from other posts is that if you get 80 or above points you are almost guaranteed a spot.
I bought the study manual on amazon, it is like 40 bucks for a new one.

Thanks !!! :-)
Looking at Spring 2014 forums a decent amount of people got in with as little as 75 points.
I hope that number stays the same for fall !!! :)

Go on Craig's list for the Study guide. it's cheaper.
Does anybody know how many students Rcc is going to accept for the fall 14 program?
Are you guys applying to any other nursing programs?

They take a maximum of 80 students per semester. They also have an alternate list of students that they pick from when students who are already in drop out/fail to meet the immunization requirements.
