Riverside Community College Fall 2015 RN

Anyone applying for RCC's Fall 2015 Nursing program?

Thought I'd start a thread to communicate about applying, TEAS, etc.

Thank you!! I have tried Google but without any luck, all the school would just link me to other certification programs. I have heard there's programs around $900 but no one could ever give me an actual school or place. At this point I just want to find something and get the cna out of the way. I did find that the redcross has one but it doesnt start till late August and ends in late October. I need to have it done by mid October for the deadline so im kind of running out of time without finding anything

I can try and do some research tomorrow for you as well and see what I can come up with. Wow 900 dollars my CNA HHA was 450 and the training is in Torrance that's probably way to far for you. I will let you know what I find out from my friend at work which she attended in Riverside that would probably be more economical for you. I know the school. I know they had a 5 week program but it's Monday through Friday. I did the weekend program but it was 15 weeks.

I heard yesterday from a fairly reliable source that acceptance/denial letters would be going out by the end of this week.

Good luck!

officially nervous now lol. Considering tomorrow would be considered the last day of the week.

Nursedorkface: That's what a lot of LVNs said. Unfortunately, those were some of the ones that flunked out. Stay humble and study hard. Remember, everyone that will be accepted are smart and have gotten straight As. This program is different. You will end up finding out yourselves. A lot of us graduates who have a Masters or Bachelors will say that this was the hardest thing academically we've gone through in life. Good luck!

Studentrcc where you in nursing 21 in the Spring 15? I did here you all had 30 students that were struggling at one point. I am an LVN but decided to start at the beginning because it over 20 yrs since I been in school. I am glad I did. I have spoke to some of the students who just graduated. They gave me some valuable tips. You have to know how to think like a nurse. This will have to come first. Try to have fun and not get to stressed out, about all pray and trust in God to get you through it. Stay positive.

Yea it starts again I believe in January.

Yes I will be taking Pharmacology. I hope you get in Sammy Joe. I am praying for you.

Hi everyone, just ran into this page and I think its great there's something like this where everyone helps each other out. Wishing everyone luck, i applied also but with 70 points I doubt ill get in :( Im looking around for CNA schools but Im having a hard time looking for one. Anyone here have their cna license? Or does anyone know a place in or near Riverside? Im really stressing out over this

Hi!

you can get your CNA at Mt san jacinto college and if you qualify for financial aid they pay it for you. If not i payed 400$ i think.

Do acceptance/denial letters really go out today?

Or until the middle of this month, as stated before?

I haven't received anything I'm assuming next week

I was told by someone who "should" be in the know that's why I said "fairly" reliable but they could have been misinformed. Fun huh?

It's okay no worries.. The waiting game continues
